I think the real question, is what are you compensating for with such a tall vehicle?
>>14124394
Why are you so obsessed with other people's dicks?
>>14124394
>thinks car height matters in a grocery getter
>posts le german engineering
>doing a general cleaning of my car, going over every little nook and cranny to make sure it looks shiny and new
>get to the engine bay, start poking around in there
>open up the throttle bodies and start cleaning them out
>spraying throttle body cleaner and using a toothbrush to wipe it off
>all of a sudden hear a THWOOSH as the red tube off the throttle body cleaner detaches and flies away deep into the fucking throttle body

Ya dun goofed now
Holy fuck. Fantastic job, OP.

You done fucked up

Niggawat?
So /o/,
Aussie here, I currently drive a 2002 Honda Integra Type R. I've had this thing for about 3 years. I've put some work into the car over this time such as a closed door respray as it faded to pink and some basic I/H/E bolt ons and coilovers + wheels to. I find this car just isn't good to drive every day now, it's still a fun car to drive despite only being a four cylinder NA but my god, the car makes noises and things rattle, the suspension is firm and the aircon doesn't seem to do anything when the outside temperature goes above 30c. I've been looking at other hot hatches like Focus XR5's and the new Fiesta ST's, I think I'd want something with a turbo, but it would also be cool if I could get a good, comfortable, practical and fun to drive daily in rear wheel drive or sedan form as well... What ideas can you pitch?
'14 STi hatch
Commodore? Check out daily ausfag thread as well for a good chart.

Forgot to mention, trying to keep the price limited to no higher than the low 20k mark
why does 4 cylinder bikes sound cool but 4 cylinder cars sound like a shit?

If you don't know. Then leave here and don't come back till you do

What's the best handling used car below $30,000 that is also good enough to daily?
Mustang is always the answer.

MR2 no exceptions
MR always beats FF
Why I will never buy a Chrysler
http://www.oilsludge.com/#what
I know its an old engine but still
>>14123825
That's unfortunate. The site claims it happens to vehicles that were properly maintained but I'm still willing to bet most of the cases were caused by lack of maintenance from people dumb enough to buy a Chrysler product in the first place.

xj cherokee here its a pos and i love it

its like asking for trouble breh
>>14123876
i owned a 1998 grand cherokee 5.9 limited and it was a work horse man true craftsmanship. it honestly felt like it was built with love. power lines snow storms towing vehicles trailers family get aways power heated everything.
Front wheel drive is wrong wheel drive
>>14123796
agree

Strewth uleh
>>14123796
Front wheel drive makes sense.
Steering wheel points the wheels in the direction you wanna go, and the engine turns them.
Why would you power the wheels that aren't pointed in the right direction? You're literally wasting energy.

it wouldnt be a fair comparison so I didnt want to bring it in
but here you go
EF>EG>EK>ZZW30>NB>EP>NA>AW11>who cares
There is almost no car that I like that I can reasonably afford.
the 2004 and older mustangs are to old. the 2005 - 2010 mustangs are ass. The newer camaros are ass. most imports are ass. BMWs are ass. All the WRXs and 350s are dogged on and ragged out or to old aswell.
What I really want is something 2008 and newer, has power, and is smaller. I dont like big cars, I dont like trucks, I prefer RWD and I prefer a v8.
>I'm a poor picky faggot with bad taste that sucks at finding cars
That's you OP.
>>14123661
get an old civic and shut the fuck up
picky sumbitch aint you? you're pricing yourself out of good cars.
2008 or newer, V8, RWD, essentially sports car.
you drop the 2008 on that I could find you something nice for a decent price. why 2008 plus? its all about the mileage and how it was cared for.
all I can say is man up and miata.
What's your favorite paint color?
I like bright colors. Medium blue and buttermilk yellow are probably my favorites.
I really like this one. Oranges and blues. Bright white is also good, but hard to keep clean, I would only get a bright white car as a 4wd because then I wouldn't have to clean it
Agreed
Light blue on older trucks looks amazing
>>14123570
The only vehicles I see in that orange color are PT Cruisers. Kind of a shame.
What car is this
Some kind of weird Roush Fiero with a Stratus body kit.
subaru legacy?
>>14123524
I knew it was something like that thanks
Hey /o/, I'm strongly considering an SN95 Mustang instead of an LS1.
How fast is a convertible with PI heads?
>Should I just build a 5.0?
>Is the time and money even worth it to complete the swap?
>Would a V6 SN95 be a better option and then do a modular swap of my choice? (4.6, 5.4... 2v, 3v, or 4v junkyard motor)
>Would an LT1 with T-Tops or Convertible be far superior and hassle free other than Optispark and Reverse cooling?
Should I just wait for an LS1 with a T56 for gas Milage and the T-Tops and save the money and hassle?
I never really cared for the GTs since SHOs were faster from the from the factory, but these SN95s are cheap as shit and fully loaded, and they are RWD and V8.
>>14123485
Get a 94-96 and work on the 5.0. Also don't get a converible.
Buy a coupe, manual GT (or snek). Any other configuration for an SN95 is full retard
The guy who sold me my Miata apparently did some weird air box snorkel delete, so that it just sucks in hot air from the hole in the back of the stock box, which is right next to the exhaust manifold. Wish I'd noticed it when I bought the car, but I had no frame of reference for what a normal engine bay should look like. Now I've gotta go buy an OEM snorkel, or possibly rig my own knowing that it'll never perform as well.
Anyway, post stupid shit that previous owners have done.
>>14123377
You poor thing.
How ever will you survive!!!!
Does what the order itself is, count? The original buyer if grandfather's Mustang decided upon a combination of: base plastic steering wheel (deluxe was metal), no power steering, and the heaviest engine available that year. The string wheel has broken at least once, he told me.
>>14123377
>what is a junkyard?
p/o (or rather a mechanic the p/o used since they were total casuals) broke the pcv crankcase hose on my volvo 850 and just t'd the broken nipple off into the manifold vacuum tree for some reason with some fuel line. took a while to figure out.
Where could i find more scans of old japanese magazines like this?
