Looking to buy a budget track car now that o have some spare cash. I've decided on a dodge neon based on the aftermarket and their success in scca. What is the best year to be looking at for upgrading the car? I don't care about shit like a coupe vs a sedan, just want to know what to look out for. Thanks in advance fellas

Last I saw Neons weren't really competitive in a specific class unless you went full retard and wanted to throw money away by going Street Modified/SMF which places you against caged gutted CRXs with supercharged K-Series swaps and slicks in the same class.

My truck just fucked up in the middle of traffic. While I'm sitting here waiting on my buddy to come pull me home, I wanted you guys opinion on this. When I try to start my truck with the clutch in the starts spins free like it's not turning the engine. If I put it in 1st with the clutch pedal out and crank it moves forward. Is it possible I cracked all the flywheel bolts off? Or just cracked the flywheel around the crank snout? I'm at a loss right now.

Do you have a 2 speed transfer case? Maybe try putting it in low and starting the car in gear if it will only crank while it's in gear. Could be a problem with the neutral safety switch as well, but it's odd that it will crank when it's in gear, would have to be a pretty wacky electrical problem.

So I've been driving stick for 6 months now.
I'm good at all and can be super fucking smooth but it seems that no matter how smooth I am, my passengers always lurch forward a bit when I shift. Usually it's girls who are 110lbs and have never been in my car before so they don't expect it I guess. I don't move at all.
What am I doing wrong when shifting?

/o/, we have a mission: we need to try to pick out a pickup truck which can moonlight by having a ladder rack and truck boxes mounted to it, workin' and towin', but on the weekend those come off and I can take her trailin', muddin', off-roadin', rallyin', driftin', whatever the fuck i can fun truck.
Considerations:
I know these setups will require part swaps based on activity, such as different suspensions, mud tires, at tires, snow tires, disposable tires for drifitn'.
must pass colorado emissions every so often.
id like to somewhat hide my power level around town, so nothing TOO crazy.
4wd/awd
id like it to maintain a somewhat reasonable mpg, why diesel came to mind.
total stretch i think, but can a dually fit this bill?
id think ideally this could be a truck & engine with lots of aftermarket parts for me to play around with upgrading it.
i'm not shying away from automatic/manual or gas/diesel.

Got an older 99 car. This light came on. I noticed that brake fluid gets low and I'd have to press the brake harder to stop. I've read that when brakes are worn out, the fluid levels go down.
Is it time to change the brakes?

Friend of mine has rented a well known 302 powered arrive-and-drive car for the race, is going to try and run the whole event with no relief driver. He seriously might pull it off. we've team-driven our way to class C victories before, but this car is class A; he'll be up against Porch, Southworst, and Cervesa.

Black Ice really doesn't smell all that great it's just something you leave hanging from your mirror for the meme-value, although I think it's about to become passe - Black Ice was the ONLY variety of Little Tree they had at Walmart the other day.
Anyway if you want a non-car smell in your car just put on your cologne or whatever Axe garbage you wear in your car. The overspray will linger.
