It's not a special car in any way but it looks kinda cute from some angles and it's incredibly reliable.
Got over 230K km on it, only problems on it are a broken light on the instrument panel and a tear in the heat shield on the exhaust manifold heat shield that rattles a little at 2K RPM. Everything else works as new.

Meanwhile, I drive a Peugeot 205 that has less kilometers on it and is about the same age and literally everything is broken.

Subaru is overrated to me but thats probably just cause the over population of these cars and their "AWD or die" fan boys that i run into where i live.

We chop off
the back end of a coupe
everything after the rear window (that we can)
so basically the entire trunk section
it would decrease weight significantly
add aerodynamics
through these things
handling, speed, and quickness are improved

is it possible to move the gas canister closer so we can chop off more of the back end all the way to the rear wheel?
by doing this we could create the ultimate track car

In the winter, your engine takes waaaay longer to warm up to normal operating temperatures where it's most efficient, so yes, the winter will hurt your economy by a lot, especially if you drive hard while the engine's not warm. You might try buying a block heater to warm up the engine electronically before you go somewhere. Of course you should look into whether or not it can be done on your car and if it's worth the cost.

I like my Crown Vic and all but a large part of the appeal is that the older ones cost pocket change. A newer one with lower miles is nice and all but for the cost you have much nicer options available to you too.

Hell even in the same family that's a long way towards a Marauder in decent shape if you have some patience.
