Just bought an 07 Subaru Legacy GT with 108k miles on it, automatic because Pa died before i got my license and my mom hates me.
Tell me how bad I fucked up /o/!!!
did you check it see if it had a coolant change

no, how exactly do i check that? i only have a down payment with the guy right now, not picking it up until tuesday
>boxer engine
not even once.
So I'm looking to buy a new car in February. I want something that's fun to drive, easy to drive around town and something that doesn't make me want to kill myself when I have to drive more than 2 hours at 150+ kph.
I've narrowed it down to these cars:
Ford Fiesta (1.0 Ecoboost w/ 100-140 hp or the ST)
Mini Cooper
Renault Clio (120 hp or the 90 hp diesel, hatch or wagon)
They all cost between 14 and 17k and have done between 12 and 23k km.
Which one would you choose, and why?
What are the alternatives?
I think the Mini or the Clio might be better for longer journeys than the Fiesta, especially the ST and the Sport, but the Fiesta is great fun in town and will probably be more reliable than the Mini and the Clio.
Thank you for your advice!
Also: Post small cars!

What went wrong?
And why don't they bring it back? I really want an $80k Ford truck.
I mean look at this stupid shit.
Isn't it called the mark LT
and don't the 2016 ford f150s have massage seat packages
And I like luxury things and I like ride height
But I don't know how reliable Lincoln trucks are

>tfw my mom drives one of those
It's not a special car in any way but it looks kinda cute from some angles and it's incredibly reliable.
Got over 230K km on it, only problems on it are a broken light on the instrument panel and a tear in the heat shield on the exhaust manifold heat shield that rattles a little at 2K RPM. Everything else works as new.
Meanwhile, I drive a Peugeot 205 that has less kilometers on it and is about the same age and literally everything is broken.

You guys like my new car!?

Subaru is overrated to me but thats probably just cause the over population of these cars and their "AWD or die" fan boys that i run into where i live.
Gotta say those cars pack a punch for 4 cylinders but they still all sound ricey to me.
I feel like the kids that drive the honda hatchbacks are the ones that gravitate towards Subaru when they outgrow their shitboxes.

Idk the wrx ain't what it used to thats for sure. It's funny too since they switched to equal length headers it doesn't have the subie rumble anymore it really doesnt have much of a sound at all now which yeah in my younger years would've bugged me but not so much. It does attract a ton of retards though. On my way home from work I alway run into the same gt500 mustang and a few other muscle cars. I've lost track of how many times they tried to get me to race. The mustang guy even goes to the same gas station I go to and gave me shit the other day "come on bro u scared". No I just don't see a point I know u will smoke me l. He was genuinely confused it seemed.

We chop off
the back end of a coupe
everything after the rear window (that we can)
so basically the entire trunk section
it would decrease weight significantly
add aerodynamics
through these things
handling, speed, and quickness are improved
is it possible to move the gas canister closer so we can chop off more of the back end all the way to the rear wheel?
by doing this we could create the ultimate track car
i am using my car, a BA4 Prelude as visual aid

I bought a 2014 Honda Accord 2 years ago and every winter my average MPG dips down to 14-18. I live in North Dakota, where it is cold as shit (-20F some days) but this shouldn't hurt my average that bad, should it? I seem to get 20-26 in the summer time. Anyone else have similar problems?
>I bought a 2014 Honda Accord 2 years ago
Why?
>>14131974
maybe you scraped on snow and fucked up your fuel line. Get it checked
>>14131974
>this shouldn't hurt my average that bad, should it?
In the winter, your engine takes waaaay longer to warm up to normal operating temperatures where it's most efficient, so yes, the winter will hurt your economy by a lot, especially if you drive hard while the engine's not warm. You might try buying a block heater to warm up the engine electronically before you go somewhere. Of course you should look into whether or not it can be done on your car and if it's worth the cost.
I've been looking at an MX6. Anything I need to know about them? Anything to look out for?
>>14131969
Is gud car.
You going v6?
>>14131984
It's a V6. Apparently, had lots of work done it it, and it's done 250,000 km's. Hopefully will get to test drive it later today.
It's a ford probe in disguise, it handled exceptionally well.
DO YOU EVEN SHIFT?

Why would I arbitrarily use an outdated automotive technology that has no determinable benefit over an Automatic transmission? Is it solely to gain the approval of some people on an anonymous Chinese image board? If so, that is not a very valid reason to hinder my driving experience.
>tfw your shitbox is old and all forums dedicated to it are barren and from 2005-ish and full of broken links/pictures and the aftermarket is completely dead
>tfw your shitbox is old, but still has a large aftermarket, active forums, and even a race group dedicated to it

Because your anus is stretched?
I don't know anon
I like my Crown Vic and all but a large part of the appeal is that the older ones cost pocket change. A newer one with lower miles is nice and all but for the cost you have much nicer options available to you too.
Hell even in the same family that's a long way towards a Marauder in decent shape if you have some patience.
>>14121844
That's a breddy gud deal if the car is in decent condition anon
Not great gas mileage but they're comfy and roomy
Plus you'll scare normies when you drive by and they'll go like 15 MPH under the speed limit
So how was the Florida meet guys? Was it just Pepsifag, two neckbeards, a 14 year old, and his mother?
he was 12

apparently hes some kind of trap
we spooked his mom though so she peeled out

The 14 year old never even showed up. A couple people met up later too. Woulda been better with 3-4 more shitboxes and somebody smart planning it.
