WHAT IN THE FUCK HAVE THEY DONE, /o/
THEY'VE TAKEN THE MOST BEAUTIFUL CAR IN THE WORLD AND THEY'VE RUINED IT
THE REAR END LOOKS LIKE IT WAS STOLEN FROM A NISSAN MAXIMA
FUCK EVERYTHING
Yeah that's a shame.
well, it's a much needed change, for better or worse. i'm tired of looking at the same design for the past 2 decades.
>>15212903
Oh, fuck that. Bentley hasn't changed the Continental GT in fifteen years. Don't mess with perfection.
Well /o/ let's hear your fuck ups, nigger rigs, and horror stories. Boy do I have one today
>last night, driving my car home
>grinding noise and voltage is funky, must be alternator bearing. Decide to replace tomorrow (i.e. today at my part time at autozone)
>drive through car wash because car was dirty
>get soaked because windows and doors aren't aligned
> power steering return hose damaged by undercarriage wash or maybe scraping
Fast forward to today
>wake up and drive to work
>voltage still fucky
>power steering line completely snaps on freeway
>we Muscle car now
>force the steering and park at work
>order alternator for my car plus power steering lines
>pull old alternator off, test it
>bearings noisy but it's still putting the right voltage out
>try to put on remanfactured one and see if it's better.
>somehow fucking manage to strip threads on reman alternator itself
>completely useless now
>coworker marks it defective and I don't have to pay for it.
> go to change power steering line
>turns out all I need is 3/8 hose and 2 clamps
>new alternator arrives
>test it on stand and it works perfectly
>attempt to install on car
>rocky but eventually goes in
>turn car on
>silent, no power steering leaks =success
>out of nowhere screech comes back
>guess it wasn't all just the alternator
>say fuck it and drive home
Fast forward to later that day
>driving back to work because I forgot my phone charger
>something still screeching under hood when suddenly...
>screeeeeeeeeach POP wub wub wub wub
>voltage going south fast
>temperature rising
>rubber all over engine bay
>look to see whats going on
>fucking pulley below alternator is stuck and not turning, literally chewing my belt.
>1 mile from work, lube belt with WD40 and drive there
>coworkers don't know what that pulley is, system shows no idler pulleys equipped.
>old mexican guy tells me it's a smog pump
>can't order it until tomorrow? Will arrive tomorrow afternoon, fuck that.
>old mexican says to just remove the pulley, get a shorter belt and re route.
>do exactly that, which means removing alternator again to replace belt
>cute waitresses from restaurant in same parking lot as my store come outside since their closed
>engage autism mode because ashamed of my shitbox leaving me stranded in shorts and flip flops
>try to drive across street to finish work their out of sight
>car door latch stuck closed, can't close door
>fix right there in parking lot
All in all I installed the alternator like 50 times, drove without power steering, fixed that, fixed a door latch, all just because I wanted my phone charger.

Installed a manifold from a vtec d16 onto my not vtec engine today. Cut the wiring shielding down a bit to make the wires reach the sensors on the throttle body in their new location, and also ran new hoses from various places for coolant and vac. That's not the rigged part.
Nobody had a gasket for it so I used silicone gasket maker. The middle bottom nut on the intake is impossible to reach and tighten (unless one of you has a trick?) soooo there's not one now. For the throttle I basically bent the shit out of the y8 bracket and looped the cable around a bolt since it was too long. This still only yielded me 75% throttle because of the angle that the cable is at. Intake temp sensor is unplugged right now so the computer reads the intake temp as 188 degrees Centigrade right now... don't know exactly how that is affecting things. Another thing that worries me is that my "LOAD PCT" as my scanner calls it is always at 88% now. I'll get an intake put together and that sensor hooked back up and see if anything changes before I worry though.
My car is leaking brake fluid from the front and when the car is turned on the pedal goes to the floor and only in the last cm or so does it have any pressure.
Only the back brakes go on. When the car is off the pedal is stiff as per usual.
Is this most likely just the brake lines or something else?
How fucked is my wallet?

>he bought a fwd civic
>>15212648
it was $900 and manual
what else could I possibly need
>>15212648
as opposed to what, a rwd civic dumb furfag?
What car looks better Bugeye (left) or Blobeye (right)?
>>15212101
at least its not FWD, that makes them both good
Blobeye, easily. Between the Blobeye and the Hawkeye it might be a toss up, but the Bugeye is definitely the least attractive.
>>15212101
bugeye.
>>15212111
spotted the basement dweller
Does anybody have eyelashes on their car? I'm thinking of getting some but I'm worried about them falling off
Wot? Kys
you are all now manually blinking
>>15211989
I have a pair, OP. They've never fallen off and I think they look great. I used a combination of gorilla glue and silicon weather sealant to make sure they stick. Good luck and don't listen to the haters!
My local Ford stealership is getting 4 of these in soon and I've been thinking about maybe putting it on my radar for a daily driver, definitely going try to get a test drive when they come in tran
>sition what does /o/ think do you love it do you hate it? let me know down in the comments below.
Fordathy Focustano Forever.
2015+ WRX is a better vehicle but the ST is nice if you don't live up north.

That's an RS dingus.

Why not a new Camaro SS?
I am launching a business that is a "shared ownership club" for luxury vehicles and yachts (aircraft in the future)
In essence, you split a vehicle into 4 parts, each of these parts is sold for 25% of the total price and each buyer is entitled to one week per month of use.
I have the website, some promotional material, business plan, some market analysis, the works.
How would you go about finding potential new clients?
Any tips appreciated, thank you.
If you have to ask it's not going to happen
flyers for timeshare-like presentations
i dunno about this idea, though, op
>>15211853
>4 people go in on a timeshare
>one wants out
>you spent all their money buying the thing
how do you pay him?
what's the best aftermarket GPS? my car doesn't have a GPS and doesn't have a bay for one in the console. I need to mount it on my dash
Your phone.
>>>>>needing a GPS
Fucking plebs I swear
Lowrance
Do you have a garage? Do you use it?
I'm unfortunately in the no garage camp. It means people wont fuck off when you're trying to do basic maintenance like change filters or brake pads, and people also wont fuck off when you just want to spend some time waxing/polishing it.
>HAHA, DUDE IT MIGHT BE THE *REALLY FUNNY JOKE* VALVE xDDDDDDDDD
>HAHA, DUDE YOU MISSED A BIT XDDDDDDDDD
I also have to constantly worry about my car being keyed/stolen/set on fire and it gets dirty as fuck from all the rain and pollen.
Is having a garage the master race setup?
I park in the driveway and do repairs at my neighbors house
you live in the ghetto, op?
>he can actually see his neighbors
Saw this while in Death Valley yesterday. It looks kind of like a Range Rover evoque. I followed it a bit to get some pictures.

Who is your favorite? Why?
Why are bakerxderek and arsonrides the most cancerous faggots on youtube?
Why is snowcat so ugly?
Why are they all so whiney?
I pretty much only like baron Von Grumble. his ex is p hot too
>>15211780
They are all man children with severe ADD. And to answer your question I don't really have a favorite. I do like that australian guy that rode that 4 cylinder honda that one time. I think he has a S1000RR, can't remember his name though.

RidingwithTom, that's who it is
Teaching your girlfriend how to drive stick is so satisfying, seeing the spark in her eyes when she finally drives in traffic and understands how to do it.
I pity any of you who never experienced this.
LONELY DRIVERS DON'T NEED GIRLFRIENDS
Then you realize you don't have to drive a manual because this is 2016

I bought a used Volvo last week, it's about 5 years old. it has the t5 engine.
it says 23 city and 29 hwy (I know, up to)
but I'm getting 14-16 for three tanks now.
before I purchased it, I had an inspection done, and nothing obviously wrong was found.
What should I look for? what could it be? everything is stock.
Volvo c30
Thermostat maybe, if it's popping too soon it'll kill mpg and emissions.
Idk if your state does those though.
sounds like your standard case of "driver is an incompetent retard"
solve by learning how to drive, or with 45 cal aspirin.
oh, also. I don't drive crazy. and my 60k is almost near.
/o/,
Can anyone identify this model for me? I know it's an Oldsmobile probably from 1994-1998 but I can't find this exact one
Anyone had any experience with an Oldsmobile? Was it good? Shit?
Love how extremely wide the rear window is so no dumbass can speed into my blindspot
>>15211576
I believe that is a '94-98 Cutlass. No idea how it is, probsbly plusher than your dog after a long day at work
>>15211576
It's an Oldsmobile Cutlass Supreme sedan. They were built from 1990-1997. Engine options were a 140 HP 3.1L MPFI V6, a 160 HP 3100 V6, or a 200-215 HP 3.4L DOHC V6.
What do you guys think about the Dodge Dart?
I'm looking into getting one and would like more feedback from more people.
>>15211546
get the 6 speed tiger shark turbo one.
they get good mpgs with good styling and horsepower too
>>15211546
Me and the wife test drove a gt model. While it was loaded to gills with tech and handled decently, the acceleration left something to be desired. Needs more power, less weight or both.
>>15211560
I'm looking but it doesn't seem like I can find one like that in my area. Gonna look a bit harder here. Thanks though.
