/o/,

Can anyone identify this model for me? I know it's an Oldsmobile probably from 1994-1998 but I can't find this exact one

Anyone had any experience with an Oldsmobile? Was it good? Shit?

Love how extremely wide the rear window is so no dumbass can speed into my blindspot

I believe that is a '94-98 Cutlass. No idea how it is, probsbly plusher than your dog after a long day at work

It's an Oldsmobile Cutlass Supreme sedan. They were built from 1990-1997. Engine options were a 140 HP 3.1L MPFI V6, a 160 HP 3100 V6, or a 200-215 HP 3.4L DOHC V6.

They were great, and reliable cars. Also surprisingly sporty given the independent rear suspension. If the car has the powerful 3.4L DOHC V6, I would avoid it unless you're an enthusiast. The 3.4L engine is a special snowflake that is a pain in the ass to do any work on. Parts are cheap but labor is expensive. An alternator replacement on the 3.4L is a $750+ job. The 3.4L is a blast to drive though with its high-revving nature, and 7000 rpm redline.

The 3.1L engines aren't as fast or as fun, but they're much cheaper to maintain.

>someone on /o/ actually desires an old Cutlass Supreme

I'm not knocking on you, I always liked the way they looked. I'm just surprised as hell.

though the convertible is glorious and rare.
>>
>>15211963
Yeah. The sedan and coupe are dirt cheap, but the convertible still commands a price over $5k.

The convertible to go for are 1995 models. Last year for the convertible and it gets the updated interior. pic related. the vert's 1995 only interior. It's so much nicer than the earlier cars.

Summer.

Every grandparents car in the 90's. Every students/pizza car in the mid-late 2000's. They are less comon but an excellent car with meh appearance.

That's good. You've fallen in love with a good car that's cheap to maintain (if you get the right engine), and is comfy to drive. You could do much worse for a DD, and to desire something that's actually practical to own is a good trait to have.
