Look closer, that's a stick.
>implying $2000 for a running driving manual Cherokee isn't a good deal
Who gives a shit about the interior?
My dipstick broke off in the oil tube about 4" from the top of the tube. Around 1" of the tip of the dipstick is stuck inside. Any ideas how to get it out?
Not that this picture would help but that's the dipstick

Bump for you OP. The third or fourth one sound like your best bet as the whole point of a Land Cruiser is the Toyota reliability tier engine (eliminating #1). I will say that if the first one had a decent V8 it might be a good buy. Avoid the second one, don't buy from people who aren't willing to spend some time or money to fix their problems as they probably cut corners elsewhere too. Good Luck OP, and get on that rust repair ASAP.

let the weeb fall into the money pit
they have to learn
I've saved up 4k to buy a dual sport. I've been looking at lot at the DRZ but I wanted to get another opinion. I'm 5'8" and 165 and I sat on a XR650L and I had a hard time keeping my feet on the ground.
Mostly going to be riding to trails and back on the weekends. I don't have any experience riding dirt bikes but I don't want to buy one just to get tired of it a year or two later.

Drz400 isnt powerful enough
650 can be lowered easily.
Most bikes will be too tall. Most can be lowered.
WR450 is great (i have one) just needs re-geared for street.

My main concern is that I've never driven any fast cars in my life and I don't want to end up wrapped around a lamp post.
I was able to test drive the 5.7L several times, but I can't find any used Scat Packs and the dealer's are anal about test drives on the 6.4L. How much difference is there between the 5.7L and 6.4L?
6.4L sounds fucking amazing.
The 5.7 in that boat anchor is stupid slow for the price
Get the 6.4
>>15209306
Scat pack is best value for money trim right now, period. Even when comparing to Ford and GM.
I wouldn't be too thrilled about an automatic, but ZF's 8 speed is pretty much king of thill right now. Not a bad choice.
When you're choosing between both, with both having the DCG, and one having just some cosmetic options, I'd go for the Scat Pack. You're getting more horsepower (in a pretty heavy chassis), and I think it'll be manageable with the nannies on.
>>15209306
Scat Pack, no question. Why is Dodge trying to jew people with the 5.7L? Didn't even know it was still around desu.
Post your shitboxes, ricers, and other rolling trashbins.

These are your shitboxes? You spoiled brats. What the fuck is a sports car for you then ?
Are bench seats for three people good? Do they have space for them all without squeezing? Any modern model with it?
Please give some insight americans.
I believe the last available car with a bench seat in America was the last gen Chevy Impala
>>15209646
You can just install a bench seat into a car it's not hard
Bench seats were great for drive in theaters and not watching the movies when you go there
Damn I miss highschool
Oy mates. Looking to buy a car. I've got around $45,000(Canadian) to spend and Im mainly looking at German cars. I saw some nice Cayman S', 911 C2's, 435i's, E90 M3's, etc.
Ive driven manual my entire life and I hate driving automatic cars, but I wonder if it would be okay to drive a PDK Porsche or an SMG BMW, or something like a C63 which has paddle shifters.
Also looking for what cars I should also consider at $45k.
Thanks
>>15209186
yes, if it is convenient for you go automatic
>>15209186

What if I want a subaru svx and want to race it or rallyx?
Hey /o/, I've decided that I want to get a motorcycle. I've never ridden a bike before, so I'm going to take a safety course in one week. The bike that I want to get is a KLR 650 (used of course), but multiple people have told me that 650cc is bad for a beginner and say it'll be too much to handle.
What do you guys think? I'll be learning on a 250cc, so should I start there or ignore what people say and just get the bike I want?
Bumping I want to know too
The KLR will be perfectly fine. When people dont want bby riders starting on 600s+ they are usually referring to sport bikes or the such. Not single cylinder thumpers.
The KLR 650 is an absolute dog power wise. But you get a nice high seating position and a reliable engine and tranny.
I would say its an ideal first bike.
Have fun!!
I'd like to get a Range Rover Sport SVR. I know it's a ridiculous truck, but I just want one.
My current/regular Range Rover Sport is white with a black top. I was considering getting the SVR white with a black top also, but shopping today my family was saying that it might not stand out enough for being a SVR. There are a lot of white range rovers in my area.
There are other options, like red or the special blue. It's a bit hot for black where I live.
What do you guys think? What color should I get the SVR in?
Here is the blue.
>truck
lmao!!!
green ofc
Get the blue obviously.
Who is the worst exotic car manufacturer and why is it Lamborghini?
Because VAG

Can't argue that m8.
What did you expect when a tractor manufacturer makes sport cars

Soichiro Honda didn't die for this, how do you fuck up a halo car this bad?

Looking for a first shitbox on craigslist, what are MAJOR RED FLAGS; things that make it not worth buying because it would be a money pit? On the flipside, what are things that aren't actually that big of a deal and aren't hard or expensive to fix that people don't bother with?
>>15208361
>RED FLAGS
Anything not a corolla
>what are MAJOR RED FLAGS; things that make it not worth buying because it would be a money pit?
anything exotic or luxurious
>what are things that aren't actually that big of a deal and aren't hard or expensive to fix that people don't bother with?
replacing a blown head gasket yourself costs almost nothing. It's just a tedious job because you have take a lot out of the engine bay and open the engine, and most people just don't want to bother and accidentally fuck something up. if you download the repair manual for your car, it probably would be a pretty painless process.
>>15208410
Not OP but are you serious about it costing almost nothing?
Some anon replaced the hg on his 4age and i asked him how much it cost. He said it came out to about 1k. Did he just do a lot of other stuff along the way?
I ask because im about to do the same.
Hey guys,
What's a nice new/used DD sporty car under 20k? I'm not looking to add shit on it, just drive around and have fun. I don't want any headaches so something reliable and recent is a plus.
Looking at the BRZ/FRS or a GTI right now.
Thoughts?
