I'm looking to buy a moped. Are there any infographs or general guidelines to look at? Sorry if this doesn't warrant its own thread.
Self boomb
>>15216142
Buy a small displacement motorcycle instead. 250cc bikes will net you 70-80 mpg easily (i assume this is why you want a moped), theyre actually usable at highway speeds, and you wont kill yourself because they make only slightly more power then a lawnmower.
If you want a moped just for fun or for city riding only, then get a grom, but it wont get you to highway speeds. Very fun little machines, do willys easy. 100+ mpg too
Where are you, and what types are you looking for?

Speaking of Azerbaijan, has anyone seen the layout for the Baku F1 street circuit? It looks horrible.
Azerbaijan deserves better desu senpai
>>15215986
Baku is one of my favorite cities I've been to in Europe. I went there on an unplanned business trip and thought it was going to be weird and boring (am ignorant burgerlander) but I loved it and I want to go back.
This doesn't explain all the Dodges in Germany.
You're at a stop light, Scotty Kilmer rolls up in his Mustang
>hey kid your engine sounds like shit, I can hear the rods knocking, thats what you get for not doing the oil yourself. Also nice Chinese tyres you faggot
How do you respond?
>>15215930
Least it's not some muscle car wannabe.
Rev up my engine
Hey guys, my 2000 subaru outback is blowing clouds of smoke as the car runs, it's quite clear that water has leaked into the oil. I hear this is most commonly caused by a leaking gasket, subarus are notorious for blown head gaskets, but the only leak i can find is out of the air box leading to the intake manifold. I took the car to a friendly mechanic and he said it's most likely the intake gasket.
My question:
>Could oil leaking from the air filter only be from a blown manifold gasket? or is it possible it could be the head gasket ? or both?
>could the issue be anything else?
>would you rebuild the engine even if the head gasket wasn't the issue because it's likely to fail at some point?
I don't have any history of maintenance on the car so i don't know what work was done when.
>>15215894
Headgaskets leaking internally wont show visually. Intake manifold gaskets dont do shit besides keep vacuum pressure
>>15215912
So it has to be the head gasket?
This is the largest repair I've ever encountered in most aspects, more so than my 3d printer and seized dr 250, and finding open neutrals in walls so any advice, comments, input is appreciated. thanks.

does the tag under the hood say ej25?
My friend just asked me if I could put a cold air intake on his V6 Challenger. How do I react to this /o/?
>>15215814
pour a gallon of two stroke oil in the gas tank
>>15215814
Do the work and get paid. Then laugh later when his car sounds stupid.
>How do I react to this /o/?
By fucking his girlfriend. You should already have no respect for him, now seal the deal. Do shoddy work, overcharge, fuck his GF, borrow money from him, then tell him to fuck off.
>this could have all been avoided had he better taste in automotive modifications.
Anyone on /o/ had an experience with a Dodge Dynasty?
Just want a nice and comfortable car to get me around where I need to go easily
>>15215551
it's a bloated Chrysler K-car. Avoid the 3.0L V6 and it should be fine. 2.5L 4 banger and the 3.3L V6 are good though.
Also beware rust. it's the biggest problem on those cars.
>>15215613
Definitely checking for rust. I fucking love it's split bench front seat. Perfect for gf and I. Thanks for the help anon
>>15215613
I found a Dodge Dynasty but the person selling it has it listed as a 4 cylinder Chrysler engine?
No go? Still new to cars
Ok /o/. Let's play a hypothetical game.
I will give you a car and you have to explain how you would modify it to make a performance variant the factory could've made. This means no changing the drivetrain unless it's been proven capable of supporting it. So if a car was FWD and no variant of it was ever offered with anything else, RWD or AWD is out of the question.
You're also only allowed to use engines from engine families know to fit in that chassis with little to no modification.
Remember, the idea here is a performance variant the public actually would've bought.
Your first mission is a TRD version of the 1995-1999 Toyota Tercel.
Starlet GT drivetrain.
>>15215356
what else?
An engine alone doesn't make a performance car.
>>15215314
Transverse 4AGE and trans from an AW11
Stiffer struts+springs all around
Larger rear sway bar
Quicker steering rack
Reworked sportier body styling
Bolstered seats
EZ.
Are ceramic headers worth it over stainless steel headers?
These are going in my daily driver and it is not a show car - are they worth it? How much heat do they hold in compared to stainless steel? Will it make the cabin not as hot?
>>15215062
Ceramic COATED
They hold more heat.
I don't think so. Just insulate the cabin if you're worried about heat
>>15215062
Ceramic headers are usually for people who race often and can replace them often. They handle heat well but they are known to crack over time. Go with stainless steel,
>>15215091
They are stainless steel but ceramic coated
I can get the steel ones without ceramic coating for $400 or ceramic coated for $450
>be interested in going to an /o/ meet
>this is how they fucking drive

>GoPro case/mount RIGHT THERE
You aren't wrong. At least ricers stayed on freeways and in the city. Now we have a new breed of fucktard in the mountains.
I especially like the part where he has the clutch pedal in through the entire corner. What a legend of car control.
A car salesman just claimed that a corolla is actually bigger and is a step up from Camry..I'm not an expert on cars so that's the first blatant lie I have ever heard from a car dealer. How often do these guys lie?
Its their job to sell cars. They will tell you whatever they think you want to hear in order to sell you the car. Unless its in writing it doesnt matter once you sign.
Take the time to research the cars you are looking at prior to going to any lots.
>>15214726
A 2015 Corolla is probably bigger than a 1995 Camry.
>>15214734
Well I understand that, but that's too much of a well known fact to lie about.
So my crappy f250 went all the way off the scale on temp and started not running right and lost a lot of power.
I slowed and went another two miles to a gas station. It seemed fine at the time. But then I was driving it again and it seemed slower.
I figured it was just low on water as I never checked it, so this weekend I went out with it and it was pissin water, so I threw a new radiator cap on it and it redlined again, although not as bad. Eventually found a stuck thermostat.
But it's still slow it seems. It doesn't smoke or sound any different, doesn't smell at all either. so what could have happened?
It's a 5.4l 99
ruined headgaskets warped heads fucked cylinder walls etc.
Motor is probably pooched. Wasn't getting any flow of water through it at all if the thermostat was stuck. Get a junkyard replacement motor or sell the truck, it will be on it's last legs soon.
>>15214729
It had some water flow. It just wasn't enough when hooning it. And if it was headgaskets, wouldn't it smoke?
I've already put 500 miles since initial overheat.
>>15214747
Your truck is fucked. Especially if you did even light hooning with it overheating. >>15214729
This guy is right, sell that truck right the fuck now
