Help...how did this happen. Who else has this issue.
Lots of retards on here have this problem. Don't worry, only some of /o/ despises you.
>tfw you watch so much Initial D you buy an import
>>17750507
You wanna know whats sad actually, I never actually watched Initial D, but i like both anime and cars, whats wrong with me.
Okay, so right now my car has 235/45 R17 front & rear. As far as I know the wheels are 17x8 with an offset of 20mm. However, the wheels are 15 years old and likely not maintained well so they are corroded to hell.
The wheels I want to replace them with are 17x8, offset of 15mm though. Will they fit? Will they fuck my car? I understand what offset means I just don't understand anything more than that.
Bump please help, need to know if current tires will fit the new wheels
>>17750293
If the width is the same and diameter is the same then the same size tyre will fit. You can also go a couple of sizes wider or thinner and they will still fit.
The offset should be fine, it will push the wheel further away from the hub by 5mm because 0 offset is the mounting surface being right in the middle so adding offset is moving the mounting surface towards the outside of the wheel. Most cars will have enough room for 5mm less offset

Thanks for the info anon
I don't know why everyone is talking about Eclipses all of a sudden. I've owned one for a long time now. They're nothing special. Heck they aren't even made any more. They're named has been recycled for a cross over.
Anyway. I've just been hearing all sorts of talk about the Eclipse lately and I don't really know why.

cause the new one gets announced tomorrow

Why do some people think the eclipse was an amazing car is a better question
>Yes, I drive a manual, m'lady. You see, only intelligent men can drive one, as it requires . . . finesse.

Nobody claims you need to be intelligent to drive a manual car. The whole point is you need to be a literal retard to not be able to, which is why it's so funny that amerisharts can't do it.
Who's out cruising?
>>17749772
Im in the garage and thats the next best thing
I was last night, I had to give this little bugger a wash.
Trying to "cruise" anywhere on a Saturday/Sunday afternoon is annoying here, traffic is too heavy. Best time is about 7pm-2am on a Saturday night, everything closes and all the normies retire to their basements to watch Netflix.

Looking at buying this 88' Celica. It doesn't have all-trac and its FWD. Is it still a capable car? If not, can I... 'install' all -trac?

KBB has value at $3000.

>>17747484
I guess it depends on car prices in your local area, but I'd say 3000 is a fair offer to make the guy to start. I'm not sure I'd pay 3700. That's all assuming it is rust free and has no problems of course.
Makes sure it shifts properly without hesitation, especially 1st to 2nd. Should be easy to tell when cold. Check if transmission fluid is black and smells burnt.
This model with the V6 overheats the transmission and wears out the clutchpacks inside. Otherwise count on $1000-1500 for a transmission when it dies. I suggest a transmission cooler and changing the fluid with honda dw-1 and -only- that ATF.
Mine died at almost exactly that mileage.

ugly cars thread
>>17746418
Maybe it's just me, but current car design makes me appreciate the Aztek more. It was and is ugly as sin, and is basically the granddaddy of """modern""" SUV design, but it's still not as bad as the current Cherokee, or the Juke
