I need some quick advice, please!

I have a chance to buy an '87 corolla with the 4age for $650 (ausfag). The car itself is uninspiring, but the engine potential and the chance to make a nice econobox sleeper really appeals to me

As far as I can tell the cheapest I can buy the motor (fully reco) is around 2k, so it seems like a steal. 350k though, but I'm eager to do a full reco with performance parts on the motor.

Would you fucks do it? Or am I being blinded by the 4age?

The 2ZZ has the bad oil pump that will shit itself, and the motor, at high rpms
