Let's discuss about italian cars.
I must say that the Fiat Tipo is tempting me.
Anyone who drove it can share some opinions?
Quattroruote is good and all but driving a car for 100 km doesn't mean shit.
>>17769121
tony here
sincerely fuck the sedan. Hatchback looks nicer and has a 120 tjet engine. suspension is nice and soft, so the ride quality is remarkable. interior plastics fitment is actually quite good, as opposed to the quality of the materials. pretty reliable too. I work in a fiat dealership and so far no major problems with it, apart from the typical maintenance stuff like oil or something. can recommend it

That's not an italian car.
It's an American car with an italian badgeswap.
Why do ricers refer to their cars with the wrong manufacturer or name? The 240SX/Silvia comes immediately to mind, but probably the most egregious is calling an Acura Integra a Honda. It's not a fucking Honda, it's a fucking Acura, just like it's not a fucking Chevy Caprice, it's a goddamned Cadillac Fleetwood.
That Acura one especially doesn't make sense, because an Acura is a much nicer car than your basic Honda.
>inb4 overseas it was called x
Not talking about a right hand drive gray market imports where that would be an accurate description, I'm talking about normal everyday shit that was made for and sold here. Also, the title *CLEARLY* says "Acura" on it, not Honda.
because at the end of the day, its a honda
same as infiniti is a nissan
same as lexus is a toyota
Because the differences between them were literally cosmetic for ages.
If it's a Honda engine in a car made by a Honda division that specializes in slightly nicer interiors it's still a Honda car.
It's only an Acura when it was exclusive engines and drivetrains used by Acura and never Honda.
Because it literally is a Honda everywhere else on Earth
The Acura logo is just the fucking Honda logo with the tops pushed together
name one good thing about these shitboxes other than them being roomy
Fantastic visibility.

They'll run absolutely forever
4-door Mustang, except it can turn.
Taken too soon
Tragic loss...
>I don't know who you are. I don't know what you want. If you are looking for ransom, I can tell you I don't have money. But what I do have are a very particular set of skills, skills I have acquired over a very long career. Skills that make me a nightmare for people like you. If you let my daughter go now, that'll be the end of it. I will not look for you, I will not pursue you. But if you don't, I will look for you, I will find you, and I will kill you.
R.I.P

If you're careful, you can avoid being murdered by Muslims by scheduling a trip to America and driving there
Why do retards here think anything that's lowered is stanced?
It's kinda retarded.
I fail to see it. Most people calling out stanced out cars will do so accurately.
>>17768046
Wrong.
>>17768046
You are probably one of the retards I am talking about.

Why doesn't everyone buy German cars?
Why would people pick an inferior Japanese or American car over a high quality German product?
>>17767448
Why would you willingly buy an overpriced car designed to last one warranty period before falling apart disastrously?
>>17767452
>what is routine maintenance

AUTISMUS ETERNAL
I love how thin it's pillars. It makes its side windows look huge
>>17767351

What do you think about soviet cars?
Many have their own fuel and oil standards.
They are dangerous.
They aren't reliable.
They are hard to get parts for.
I'm from eatern european not big deal about parts tho
My dad told me that when you finally got your hands on one essentially had to unscrew and reassemble the engine because the people who put the thing together could not care less.
Once you tinkered with it you could make it run really smooth. If you were lucky you could get a model from the factory that zinced the paint so it did not rust to shit.
Once the wall fell and he got his hands on a Audi 80, he never looked back.
They drive and could be maintained granted you had sneaked out of the factory a full tool set and had helped your neighbor fix up his while you waited 10 years for yours. West most likely churned out trash of equal quality, but at the end of the day they were 15-20 years behind the what Capitalists were doing.
What is the best 3k Honda Civic?

$3000 should put you in a sixth generation (1996-2000) The CX and HX were slow but light weight. The D17y7 motor in the other ones was pretty peppy and easy make go a little faster. The two door and three door one's look better and are lighter weight. And of course get the manual 5 speed.
The previous generation can be had cheaper, but usually have more wear and tear, rust issues, ect. This generationa and the one before it are for the cheapskates that can turn wrenches.
I bought a 2000 VW Jetta for $2k and was just told it has a cracked timing belt, $1k to repair.
I feel jewed as fuck. Have you ever lucked out on buying used before?
>>17766809
>buying a VW product
>>17766809
it doesn't take $1000 to do a timing belt if you DIY
>>17766816
I know fuck all about cars. Trying to find a cheap mechanic to do it though. The part just costs 350 but the labour is like 700 at Canadian Tire

It's time. Post your engine bays.
It's cleaning and detailing weekend. Thinking of trying out one of the restoration products for black trim.
Most likely Mothers. Any suggestions?
How do I clean this up?
