If my car only requires 4 quarts of oil each change, what should I do with the remaining quart? The logical thing seems to be to just use it on the next oil change, but im worried it will degrade over time, What do?
>>16395935
Wash your car with it.
If you drive normally, it won't denature that quickly.
Oil won't 'go off'. Just keep it sealed.
>Let's make this one last in January 1st /o/

I mean, women who have competed seriously at the top levels of their respective motorsport?

Post shitboxes you would drive if a disaster happend.
RULE: Post why you would and why not.
Me: This piece of gets far with a gallon (56) but it will crumble in offroad.
Subaru GL/Loyale battle wagon
>disaster
>prius
have fun finding all the electricity to charge it.
also have fun finding fitting batteries if the one in it has a problem.
Most expensive shitbox ever, but there's no doubt it would be fun af to thrash around in one in the event of a disaster.
What makes a car so unreliable?
and
What makes a car so reliable?

The guy behind the wheel
The country it was built in
Breaking.
Not breaking.
Overdesign
Overbuilding
>owner is "leaving the country"
Is this a red flag? Am I gonna get scammed?
I bought a used car off a guy who my family knew for a long time who also happened to be leaving the country.
Short story, car burned retarded amounts of fuel, had an ant nest in it, and the 4th gear in the auto transmission failed after 4 days of owning the little shit.
Bottom line, i was never told anything bad about the car even when i asked, the title was also reconstructed.
Bottom line, very likely you gonna get shafted.
Not by itself. I'm leaving the country in about 6 months for business and will be selling my car beforehand.
>>16394910
>Is this a red flag? Am I gonna get scammed?
Red flag? fuck no, it's a giant green light. And you'll only get scammed if you don't check the things you'd check before buying any car.
I've picked up some serious fucking bargains from people leaving the country/moving states because the reality is they NEED to sell.
>tfw all electric cars are either god awful ugly or way too expensive
I just wanna stop paying for gas
>>16394710
I'll bet you haven't even done the math to see how long it would take you to break even with an electric car vs a comparable gasoline powered or hybrid car.
>buy miats
>buy EV conversion kit
>rip mad quiet skids
>my electric bill isn't high enough as it is
OP you're barely going to save any money at all. Get an EV Spark if you must. 400ft/lbs of torque on a fucking go-kart. Literally four times that of the gas model.
Any one else laugh when they see one of these shits on the road? They are so fucking slow!! I just rev my 600hp v8 when I pass to rub in the salt.
>>16394706
I do laugh when I see someone in a "TRD edition" FRS because they paid all of that money for gaudy paint and a silly bodykit.

What has been the greatest innovation in the automotive industry or car which has demonstrated this?
Nothing ever came close to the amount of innovation and new technology put into a production car.

You will hate me for this, but I´d say hybrids and EVs.
>best possible torque curve
>instant reaction
>extremely efficien

Tesla came close as they launched the Model S, there was no car like it before.
The powertrain of it was completely different from any production car before.
why the fuck do people spend millions of dollars on "special" cars when you can buy something like a mustang or camaro and have lots of money left over and have a car you can actually use every day and drive fast and is actually good
>>16394613
>and is actually good
fell at the last hurdle
>>16394613
Because those special cars don't always lose value
>>16394613
they buy it because they know they are going to appreciate in the future
not like a mustang which will lose 50% of its value after a year
ITT: remake of The Italian Job with a car of your choice
>must be stock
Pic related, mk7 Golf R
>AWD for dat traction and quick acceleration
>not pigfat
>fast
the job is that they keep running from the cops because they're illegal
On a semi-related note I'd like to see a reboot of the Herbie movies where he's made into a Porsche 911 instead, since the 911 has some relation to the Beetle. Or a Bugatti if we want to stretch Volkswagens connections.
The Golf R is perfect
Might also be interesting if they switched it up with a short wheelbase 4wd for variety sake.
what car is this? i passed it last night, it was dark, i could only see its lights and that it had a sporty silhouette. i live in poorland and this car seemed rather exotic for this place.
What country?
Maybe a Challenger?
>>16394913
Yeah it can also be some Dodge too. Because dodge is sticking that big LED strip on all the cars they sell.

What's a relatively cheap car I could use to fuck around with in the dunes with my friends on the weekends?
>tfw all your friends have baja bugs except you
Just something that would be relatively easy to find on craigslist but fairly cheap.
The cheapest I found was an entry level bug on CL for 800 but it was bought the same week before I could make arrangements.
I'm in no means going to take this seriously, it's basically going to be a glorified weekend warrior machine for under 1k.
Please help
>1k
An ATV basically. You're going to get fuck-all in a car for that money, let alone offroad worthy.
Just nigger rig a sandrail
$700 ex-Mexican landscaper Toyota
$200 welder
$200 pipes
$200 used tires
$40 angle grinder
Install tires
Cut fenders
Weld drear end
Fuck you, i like it!
Post your guilty pleasures boys
JCW Clubman. The most unreliable piece of shit BMW ever made.
But it's bigger than the mini, with more usable space and seating. And only 200lbs more. While having the same handling and tuning opportunities.

I wish a company that wasn't Nissan would sell something like this in North America.
>>16394277
A,
> you want a Nissan rebadged as a Chevy
Or
B,
> you want a Nissan, not made by Nissan
>fuck huge bonnets on every truck/van/ute
>chrome grilles the size of fiing cabinets
>5-8 liter gas vee-aytes in light duty furniture vans
>shitty cheap interiors
You'd think that in exchange for having the conventional, long front end, you'd actually be able to access the engine. Nope. That massive grille is bolted down, you open a tiny engine lid on top and this is what you see. Haram.
>>16394160
That's every fullsize van ever. To get at the engine you go through the doghouse, inside the van.
