Hey /o/,
I'm designing the digital dash for my drifter, that will run on a motec display. I'm open for any suggestions. Show me elements or whole displays you think look cool.

Maybe if you eat them.
What's the cheapest late 60's early 70's classic muscle car that I can realistically buy that isn't heavily imposed by boomer taxes and in general muscle car tax.
Get a 1969 Camaro OP, you won't get taxed at all.
>>16388334
Well, I don't know about cheapest, but Mercury Cougars have kinda dodged the boomer tax, and I personally think that they're damn good looking cars with a racing pedigree.

hi /o/, i will probably change my car in the near future, i'm from italy and i have a toyota yaris (bought that new in 2004 and over 250.000 kms by now)
my dad recently changed his 2002 corolla verso for a 2011 hybrid prius, i tried it but don't really like automatic transmission (i don't really like driving in general and the lack of MT makes it even more boring to me). i don't wanna miss out on new technology, can you suggest me an hybrid car with manual transmission?
i considered the honda cr-z for a moment, but has no space for rear seats
kinda a shame, man.
I can understand you want to drive something else but those Yarises are rock solid reliable a to b commuters.
If possible you should store it in the backyard to go back to it in case the new car has problems.
>>16388283
i have no garage nor backyard, i literally leave my car parked in the streets

just get a twingo.
sup /o/
So i have a shitbox 1999 accord i use to get to uni everyday and when i last got an oil change the guy said to change it every 3k miles or 6 months which ever came first.
Now im at 2k miles but 8 months have already passed so i decided i have to change it but then i started reading my owners manual and it says to change it every 7500 miles or 1 yr
Which one is correct?
It uses 5w30 conventianl oil (mobil 1 energy saving)
>>16387716
Listen to your manual
Obviously the local quick lube is gonna cut the oil change interval in half to keep you coming back to overpay for car maintenance you can do yourself
The best solution is to learn yourself (seriously is not that hard and the price of one oil change from the quick lube will pay for oil and tools to get it done yourself)
Also never use your pic related
>>16387716
just fuck my shit up fram
>>16387716
Every car and engine is a little different when it comes to oil needs.
With a high quality filter and oil in a healthy engine that isn't under much load, you could easily go 10-15k on one oil change, replace only the filter and keep running the same oil for another 10k. In an old car with bad seals and piston rings, with a neglectful owner that races every stoplight and never tops off the oil, even 3k miles would be pushing it. Ultimately the shop has to assume the worst to cover their own asses, so they recommend the minimum.
With conventional oil and a fram filter, I'd stick to 3k/6mo.
>Me: pic related***
Im not even into the /o/ I life I just researched a lot of car shit so I could shitpost

Let me know when it can complete a lap without overheating or blowing up.

No.
>>16390462
This. S1000RR is the best bike, and gets better with every generation. The only reason why you wouldn't get one is taste.

Why is there a sticky on buying cars, but there isn't one on maintaining cars?
Oil changes, spark plugs, coolant flushs, wheel alignments, etc. How/when should I do all this shit?
>>16389802
Read your manual and use common sense. Coolant brown? Flush it.

Because it is different for most every cars.
