I really want to get an RX-3. An S124, more precisely.
However, these weren't sold in America, were they? Only the earlier models were?
I just find the S124 so much sexier.
So, what then, I have to import one from Australia or Japan? And they're be RHD? I honestly don't really want to live with a RHD car.
If I got an earlier RX-3 in America as well, would that make the conversion easier? They seem to share a lot of parts, outside of different sheet metal for the body.
Cost is not really a huge concern.
Just do a facelift. Replace the front bar and headlights and shit.
>>16387697
I thought of that but I'm pretty sure every body panel is different. Just the windows and window trim I think are the same.
Even though the fenders look similar, I'm pretty sure they're different.

Well hello there
To answer the question about the Imperial without the title; In Georgia, a title is not required on any car that is 25 or older; it only needs a bill of sale. As a result, the car is worth roughly $2,000.
How is a Ranchero for a first personal car? I currently drive an 03 crv but want something fun to work on and fun to drive and the roadkill episodes made me fall in love with them. What am I getting myself into if I buy one?
Anyone doing VIN checks? Didn't see a thread in the catalog. I have 2013 Escape that i'm tossing around

Sup /o/
Moving to Canada from Straya in February and my girlfriends (who is Canadian) mum has a Chrysler 300 '08 with 95,000km (the V6 petrol engine, with the AWD option) on the clock that she's looking to trade for a SUV of some sort.
She offered it to me 7000$ and I can pay her off over 2-3 years, which is kind of neat as I'm moving without initially having a job, so it'd be nice to have a car without dropping large amounts of cash on it right away.
What I'm wondering is what are some issues with the car in general, what should I look out for? Should I even do it, is it worth it? It's hard to find used cars in Canada (or I'm retarded?) to get a read on it and they aren't really much of a thing in Straya.
Thanks in advance for the help lads. Appreciate it.
>>16394091
Chrysler are shut and I wouldn't take one for free. All I do is tow their shitty cars all the time. Might be a good find if it was taken care of but I fucking Haye chrysler.
Used cars are everywhere. I bet. Anda has craigslist
>>16394091
>It's hard to find used cars in Canada (or I'm retarded?
Fuck no. You can find lots of used cars in kijijiji.ca or autotrader.ca.
And 300 is nice tho. But I'd suggest you to find something cheap and reliable for the time being. Like a Ford Focus or Mazda 3 or a Civic for below 7k because there are lots.
>>16394131
But I can pay this off over 3 years, with no interest. Is that itself not worth it? Anything else I'd have to finance or pay outright.
Do you ever feel like you're one of the few autists left in your town/city/county/state in the USA who still tinkers with cars?

don't see any s13s at all by me except one faggot kid who wrecked one a few years ago. it was an automatic
see a few s14s tho. someone rips it up a road by my house every other week or so. also another one I see at a cars and coffee every once in a while.
Car enthusiasts are aging out, with nobody replacing them because millennials can't afford new cars and most of them are functionally useless because they've been raised to believe that manual labor is for uneducated peons.
And so they all pour into college, coming out with a useless degree and $50,000 in college debt and now they're even less likely to get into car culture.
Gen Z isn't looking any better, they won't be driving for very long before self-driving becomes the norm.
>>16393765
>manual labor is for uneducated peons.
But manual labor is for peons. Robots do that work now. There's no grace or money in work that isn't in a professional field these days.

Greetings /o/, /pol/ here. Can someone red pill me on Carmax? I like the idea of low pressure sales and not much haggling involved. But I'm sure there is some sort of catch to it.
You'll pay more than normal if you're good at haggling, less than if you're bad at haggling
>>16392783
They inflate their price since you can't haggle it down. That's about it. At least you get a decent car, just know if you put in a little elbow grease of your own you could get a better deal elsewhere
>>16392783
do your research and compare the car you want against several dealers. have them bid for your business. do this for at least two before you go check out carmax. theyll likely be less likely to go down on the price than a dealer would.
also i heard their 99 point inspection is shit and that they may push a real POS on you so make sure the warranty is sound
Alright I think I fucked up today. I accidentally put brake fluid where the oil goes. It shouldn't be a big deal since brake fluid is a lubricant like oil, right?

>brake fluid is a lubricant
I know it's bait but that's really tickling me

I don't but I just disassembled my intake at 250k miles and it's pretty gross from the oil vapor over the years. I'm considering one. Dunno how this actually affects my performance.
There is a lot of different designs I think the original one I posted is best though, it seems to use the finest filter
