God this show is so bad
What happened this episode? Was it one of the better or worse ones?
I don't think the special is too bad thus far
It's 9.2 on imdb so it can't be that bad. I don't want movie with a rating less than 7
Often see threads on /o/ with young guys stretching their wallets and buttholes to buy a $40k Mustang GT on their $9.65/hr paycheck... show me the opposite. Who has the lowest car price to annual income ratio on /o/?
I'll start - 0.013 with pic related. Who's got lower? Let's see those shitboxes!
0.04 here
Car worth/annual income?
2.25
Is that bad?

How do you feel about Indian made vehicles? Mahindra trucks are apparently pretty solid and offroad well
Who told you that?
I've seen a couple of these here in Canada. I like how spartan and simple they are. I'd maybe get one if they were ridiculously cheap and I could get parts. But seeing how Indian trucks still use wooden frames makes me a bit weary.
they're ridiculously bad
Tell me why i should get an 07+ S2000/Barely used BRZ over this /o/.
Been driving the 95 corolla for 2 years now as you guys have instructed. Ive saved 15 cash and can finance up to 25 at 3% as a first time borrower from my credit union. I only plan on financing the difference + 2k for a 100k mile wrrnty.
I cant decide between the 3. All i want is a fun weekender that can be dailyd when i dont feel like driving my shitbox. I make about 60k a year so id plan on having it paid off mid summer 2017. I was going to try for a 08 m3 v8 but i cant commit to financing over 20k.

Here is the ad for the one im lookin at. I found another in silver with 40k miles for 1k more but looks basic af.

370Z is super fucking unrefined.
>deafening road and wind noise will wear you out on journeys longer than 30 mins
>tons of rattles and shakes even when the car is brand new
>even the fucking shifter rattles about like there's no tomorrow in a literally brand new 370Z
>Power is not impressive in person as it is on paper
>"syncro rev match" is a meme and is no substitute for learning to downshift properly
Get the BR-Z instead.
just get w/e u want.. it doesnt fucking matter anyway. any car can be made to be good.

Any other ideas in the mid low 20s high teens? After i kept lookin at the z it looked like a no brainer. My first car was a 300NA and ive owned 2 350s but everything is baddass when your 16. I wasnt even into cars until my 20s
rice or nice?
>>16395098
heavy and not wind tunnel or cfd tested
you decide
It looks nice but theres a few issues imo.
1) Its extremly popular right now, meaning it turned from semi-rare/different to fairly normal in the car scene.
2) In a few years the fad is gonna be over and a ton of people have fucked up their cars for something that was cool for a few years
3) You have to LITERALLY cut your fenders to fit it on
4) It rubs on everything

SCCCCCCCCCCCCCCRRRRRRRAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAPE
Over 40% of all lethal accidents on the road are caused by teenage drivers. If the government takes road safety seriously, the solution is completely obvious: Put an end to learner's permits.
If you don't have a driver's license by 2016, that's it. You've missed the boat.
>b-but how will teenagers learn how to drive
VR. Put them in electronic driving simulators until they learn how to control their cars and follow the rules. Yes, this would reduce the number of new drivers, but self-driving cars will take over in a few years anyway.
Tell me if I'm wrong. Why should millennials be allowed to endanger responsible drivers?
Joke's on you, we don't have learner's permits. All learning is done in a driving school car in the presence of a driving instructor.

no one cares.. get a life

>sepf driving cars will take over in a few years
That's why SF rekt the uber fleet there, right?
>you hear a loud knock on your door
>you go to open it and noone is there except a note on the ground
>"Treat her well" the note reads
>You go to your driveway and see pic related
What do you do?

Unfuck the wheels and suspension for a start.
jack the car up, remove all four wheels, put proper fitting tires on all four wheels, adjust camber plates and raise spring/dampening rates so that it can actually drive
then probably go do some donuts in the snow
>>16392356
call the cops to report that i have recieved a posibly stolen vehicle, if i do get to keep it then sell it and maybe fix up the house, and im guessing mold in the garage and then attempt to rent out house to get a better car or same care but cheaper.
>tfw no lift in my house
FUCKNIGGA
>>16389908
just
people sell 2 post lifts on craigslist
generally speaking its only 3500 max to get a similar setup
thats like a new credit card, which anyone would qualify for

I dont want to imagine what can happen in case of an earthquake.
Still jelly.
Manual Vs Automatic debate thread
Why do you like or dislike manual/automatic transmission?
>Must have a valid point
>No "because it's more fun"
>>16380123
No.
>"because it's more fun" isn't a valid point
>especially on a car enthusiast board
Are you fucking kidding me? I'll play along though since there are other valid reasons
>more control over my vehicle
>safer because I'm more engaged in my driving, and therefore alert
>more reliable than automatics, at least the shitty DCT ones Ford offers
Manual
>I CHOOSE when to shift
>Engine braking
>Closer connection to vehicle, more control
>Simpler than an automatic, I can tear it apart and know what everything is, easier to service
>More engaging experience
>Nogs cant drive stick
>Because it's more fun
Best Le Mans cars, let's go
Let's talk tools real quick. What kind of things should someone who starts working on their car need? And furthermore, what brands are good and wont break the bank like SnapOn?
I keep this saved just for these threads
>>16397386
Thanks, pretty much exactly what I needed.
>tfw no hazet or snap-on
dream of going to a deceased estate auction or barn find and getting boxes of that shit for next to nothing
Looking for opinions, what is the most beautiful classic car?
My fav (pic) and the 1966 shelby GT350 ford mustang but it's too mainstream now
>>16397340
These are absolutely gorgeous.
Fulvias are perfectly proportioned and a blast to drive, and if they're not in concourse condition you can still get them for normal people money.
>>16397356
>>16397377
good taste
>>16397356
This look like a shelby cobra
About to buy one of these, test drove it the other day and it had pretty good handling for a boat and a silly 'sport exhaust' mode that intentionally burns rich to make the exhaust pop on downshifts. Getting a pretty solid deal on it, but the main reason is that it's one of the few proper 4-seater luxury convertibles.
Are there alternative cars that are any better? Most of the other '4 seater' cabriolets I looked at were actually 2+2 so the backseats were impossible to fit in
>buy
