Pretty good at a lot of things but doesn't specialize in anything. Great interior, might buy if it wasn't so god damn expensive.

do i leave it glossy or do i make it matte/satin?
>>16425934
If you have shit graphics matte if adequate or better gloss
>dad goes out drinking
>texts me to pick him up
>go and pick him up, drive him home
>anon.. you really need to stop driving like you just passed your test and start becoming an advanced driver, like me
>here we fucking go
>you don't have to indicate when you go around corners at night when you can't see anybody, you have to be more confident
>>16403175
>not drifting corners with dad in rhythm of eurobeat
>>16403175
I indicate off roundabouts because its the law in my country.
I indicate in carparks
I indicate when the road is fucking empry
I indicate to merge back after stopping to give way to someone
Gf makes fun of me for all these things.
I'll make fun of her when she gets a ticket for not doing it.
>>16403175
There could be someone you can't see, like a pedestrian or a driver with his lights off.
There could also be someone driving fast as fuck from around a corner that wouldn't come in to view until the last second when you're starting to round the corner.
About a year ago my grandma died and I got her car. It's a 2003 Chevy Malibu and recently, I began to really wonder how practical it would be to add some performance modifications. I've always toyed with the idea of a sleeper car....but I feel that taking it on as a project is essential to fight a lifetime of depression.
Is the '03 Malibu going to be a decent platform? Obviously any car can get a better intake and a new exhaust system....but I'd like this to be a much longer, and more involved project; should I try to look for a different buggy or work with this thing?
Do you think you have the money for it?
If not then just dream about because money problems suck mayne.
>>16437347
I could make it over time, and just invest in what i could afford. I'm more concerned about how viable it is....especially since i might be moving a ways away in a few months.
>>16437322
one of the local GM nuts here. Yes you can make a Sleeper from the N-body Malibu. You'd be surprised but there actually is a decent aftermarket for it.
Here's what I would do:
Engine:

Brakes:

KYB used to offer AGX sturts for them, but they've been discontinued. H&R still makes lowering springs though.
any other performance parts for the engine can be ordered here.

But why did they have to go with the fucking ecoboost engine.
https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=F7oTd4cYPA8
It's KNOWN for being unreliable in the f-150's, why the fuck would they shoot themselves in the foot?
I'm not saying they had to go v8 either, i'm asking why the fuck they did not prepare for this shit?
Hell, why did they not at least make sure it works before press release. This is the 2nd time this has happened.
The 3.5l EcoBoost V6 has proven itself in endurance racing already.
>>16436841
>It's KNOWN for being unreliable in the f-150
no it isnt. its one of the first models not even released yet and press car has electrical issues. big deal.
>>16436841
Because ford cant build their own engine.
Or design their own car
Or assemble it either...
Hello /o/. Was wondering if you could enlighten me as to whether or not I have a busted headgasket.
The car's temps go up and down as I drive and It has come close to overheating a few times. Smoke isnt billowing out, but it does have a smidgen of smoke. There is some drops of water on occasion coming out of it when it gets driven.
The radiator was replaced and the coolant was flushed about 2 months ago by the Nissan dealership after my core cracked. It is also leaking a bit of oil from what looks like the head gasket area on the right side of the engine. It has 170K and the VQ35DE. The car is pic related an 01 QX4.
>>16436760
is your coolant oily?
Is your oil milky?
Is there peanut butter colored stuff on your engine oil cap or radiator/reservoir cap?
are you loosing oil?
are you losing coolant?
White or blue smoke?
>>16436772
>Is there peanut butter colored stuff on your engine oil cap or radiator/reservoir cap?
keep in mind that if its cold out where you live and you don't let the oil warm up correctly and take lots of short drives the cap will also look like this.
Generally overheating problems will lead to blown headgasket anyway so if it hasn't already its only a matter of time.
>>16436772
looks fine
looks a bit dirty but I need to change it. Seems ok
The oil cap looks kind of like a brownie color
A little bit
not that I can see. Maybe a bit
White
Hey did you guys know that rain isn't actually that dangerous so long as you don't drive like a maniac?
>>16436705
I'm 12 years old and who is this guy?
hydroplaning is a thing
>>16436705
I know that Summer Max performance tires have fuck all worth of grip in the wet and the cold.
Just bought a beater truck and the tires are bald. However I'm not interested in paying more for a new set of tires than I did for the truck.
What's my best bet for getting some hyper-cheap tires?
chinks
>>16436497
Explain
>>16436507
Depending on the size you can get tires forvabout 200-300$ a set
heyo, what kind of car does this engine belong to?
thanks.
>>16436272
Mitsubishi Evolution XXIIV
>>16436272
Looks like a 4g63 engine. Or a Ford Voodoo. Hard to tell.

Lads, I have my eye on a couple of 2008/09/2011 Mistu Lancer's.
Anyone own one here? How's it treating you?
>>16436223
it'll never ever be an evo
>>16436223
Why would you buy mitsubishit when many other better cars exist for less or equal money?
>>16436229
I like the Design of the Lancer.
Can you name a few other better, "sporty" looking cars with nice designs around the price point of $6-12k? Would love recommendations.
I'm just browsing at the moment. Thanks /o/

Welp, it's over guys. Guess we gotta find another hobby, huh? :^(
Yeah, how about gassing anti-car faggots?
>those fucking pricks in the comments
God I hate The Guardian and everyone who reads it.
Driver-less car > Woman driving an SUV
I see no problem here.
Faggots that hate cars will no longer drive, so only people who care about driving will continue to do so.
Just make sure you got a nice car with manual transmission by then, since they are getting more scarce.
Will there be any more /o/ sings threads?

I know a guy that has like two minters
Pitty they are soo damn expensive for what they are
>>16433794
I've found a very cheap one that spent most of its miles being towed by an RV. A lot of new parts too, and rust free. Comparatively well priced.
>>16433803
Dragged or trailer towed?
Why are landcruisers so expensive?
Are they really that more capable than a 4runner which you can buy fully loaded for half the price?
You don't buy a Land Cruiser because it's more capable then a 4runner. You buy because it's more luxurious.
>>16433237
Then why isn't it sold under Lexus?
Because engineering something to last 30 years isn't cheap.
This guy is actually pretty cool, I like him a lot. You should go like and subscribe all his YouTube videos

I don't get what /o/'s deal is with him.
I've only watched one of his videos, and he seemed like he knew what he was talking about.
The only thing I couldn't stand was that he went through the repair so fast, you'd basically have to already know what you were doing for the video to help at all. Kind of like someone "teaching" you a foreign language by talking at the speed they normally would.
That shit doesn't help at all.
