What does /o/ think of the new Land Rover Discovery?
Sure looks like shit. I mean, I'm sure the butt sticking out and being vertical like that is great for cargo capacity, but it looks terrible.
>>16435606
Probably will be more overpriced shit. The ass hanging way out likely limits off road capability
Indian copy of the Jeep Compass.
Is dent pulling a worthwhile skill to have?
Or should I just pay a professional to do it so there's no danger of me fucking up? Pulling the dent out doesn't seem hard, but tapping the raised edges with a hammer down does.
A dent pullet kit is like $50 and so is getting the dent out at a shop. Should I teach a man to fish?
>>16435414
When it comes to weird shit you'll use once in your life, you're better off paying a professional. Like that any fuck ups are insured
>>16435422
It does seem like a very specific skill to spend time developing. And the potential for fuck up is high. But the potential to become immune to door dings is appealing.
>>16435433
If you feel like learning, it could be worth it to you. Knowledge and skill has no price. I personally wouldn't want to do this because I never really get dents and if i did its no big deal to me.
What is and how much$$$$ is Pink Guys car? Good first car?

What are absolute deal breakers when looking to buy a used car? I'd like to get a solid list going for newbs
For me it's the following
>rust on axles/exhaust/frames
>leaks inside the engine
>accidents that caused structural damage
>poor and/or improper maintenance
Cloth seats that aren't brand new replacements because they will be full of the previous owners farts
>>16433277
>rust on exhaust or frame
Must be nice living in Arizona. Only way we find a car like that around here is if it has 0 miles on it and is always stored indoors
If any of the previous owners were niggers

So I posted last night inquiring about Nissan 350z's. The reason why I am is because I really am interested in a specific one and was wondering about the car itself.
Does this seem like a fair price? It's a base model and has 26,000k on it, it's in a color I really like, and its the 2007 from which I've been told is one of the best years for it. It's also has the manual option, so I really want it.
For $12,000.
Should I go for it?

Just buy a 3k Civic and shut up.
>>16432416
If my budget was less than 5k, yeah maybe.
But it's $15k, instead.

I have a '09 Fit with 105k miles and it's been a complete dog the past couple of months.
In the summer it usually gets around 35-45mpg at 60-80mph, but recently it's been getting 25-27mpg entirely in highway miles, even drafting behind trucks and averaging around 65mph.
Torque Pro says it's getting a consistent 60-70 wheel horsepower on average with the standard test.
Air filter is brand new. Every single fluid in the car is brand new. Torque shows completely normal values and no codes of any sort. The only maintenance I haven't gotten done is valves and a fuel filter.
Is my car just getting booty blasted by the cold or could bad valve clearances / an old fuel filter cause this shit? I love the car, but the poor thing can't even spin one tire on dirt anymore.
Cars have worse mpgees during the winter, its to be expected.
>>16431932
I would replace fuel filter, especially at that mileage. Cant hurt. Also, check that the o2 sensors and MAF sensor are good/clean.
>>16431932

Ok so far I have been retuned for maximum coal rolling and have scrapped my catalytic converters. What else can I do to give the environment the middle finger? I want to take the biggest shit on the environment that I can every time I drive.

Develop a slight oil leak an park over a storm drain
Release into the atmosphere and refill the refrigerant in your AC system every time you drive it.
Sawp in a 500+ci gas engine, Diesel is too clean.
