From your description it seems that the problem is that you unpacked the track pack in the wrong place. Please make sure you have unpacked the trackpack INSIDE your GameData folder.

The trackpack is packed from the Locations folder and onwards, unlike most other downloads which start from the GameData folder (meaning that you can just drop it on your root rFactor install folder). Apologies for the inconvenience.

Hope this works out for you and see you on track racer!

I'm not gonna lie, this mod is pretty bad, but this still has effect. This applies to basically every sim (even iRacing) and in a good set of physics you can really fine-tune the handling to make it perfect for you. Only a few facets of a car's setup will give the car outright speed, such as aero or gearing. The most time is gained from adjusting it to suit your driving style and give you maximum comfy. Being comfortable with the car will give you more speed than anything else.

Our crack team of "well-fed" Namibian testers has identified an issue with Lime Rock where if you go too far off track you can miss the Sector 1 checkpoint and not have your lap count. A fix has been deployed and is already available on the Google Doc. Users without this new fix will be greeted with Track Geometry errors upon joining the server.

This will be the last update to Lime Rock Park as all known issues are now fixed. We are still on track to deliver an update to fix the rest of the tracks, corrected issues include poorly placed or missing Garage/Grid/Pit slots and Low FPS. Our team is about 50% done with this and it should be ready well before the 3rd race of the season where such fixes will be necessary.

The license test structures are basically copypasta from the first game, even in GT6. Accel & brake, then simple turns, then double turns, then sections of tracks, then full laps. For me when I got GT6 the early accel & brake tests were the hardest, the full lap tests were gold first try all the time.
