We are going to give you the SAME ANSWERS AS THE REST OF THE INTERNET. GOOGLE THIS FUCKING CAR

My mom had that exact car in that color, grew up choking on the diesel fumes in the backseat. The price is inflated a bit because of people doing veggie conversions. The drivetrain and chassis is great obviously but they aren't immune to electrical issues like instruments and window regulators. They are shitty to drive and not particularly comfortable.

So what's stopping /o/ from making a car? I don't mean customizing a beater, or building one from scrapped parts, but actually designing, manufacturing and marketing a vehicle?

I recently bought a 240sx ka24e after it had been sitting for about 5-10 years and i got it up and running and drove it down the street and had someone record it for me and there was a bit of blue smoke coming out of the exhaust i did a compression test and all the cylinders were at 135 so im guessing the rings are ok unless they're all fucked. The smoke stopped when i parked the car and i read somewhere that if there is smoke on idle it would be a leak in the valves but there isnt so i dont know what to look at now. Any suggestions?

Your valve stem seals have gone hard. It's not the end of the world. I'd ignore it personally, had it on a lot of cars.

This. My KA24E was the same. They are not too terribly hard to replace, but it is a pain in the ass.

Just got approved for a loan (even though I can pay outright cash, I just need to build up some of my credit). Getting my first motorcycle, the CB300F. Am I making any mistakes? Any other alternative to consider? I'm just commuting 30 miles to work, so this will save a few bucks for me.

Get whatever the fuck meets this criteria:
>Used
>Cheap
>Reliable
>Able to perform all around riding
>Something that looks moderately nice to you

That's it. After riding and owning a motorcycle for a little while, you're gonna discover what things you personally really value in a motorcycle. Use this knowledge to ditch your first motorcycle (remember you bought it cheap.) asap and get the motorcycle that fits the bill of your now-known needs list.
Then be happy.

Your first bike should be the trial run bike that makes you fall in love with riding and you can get rid of right away, but that's not to say the next bikes will be keepers either. You're always exploring.

if i took a brand new car off the lot and put it into storage for 16 years, what would i need to do to it to get it back to new condition/operational after i pull it out of storage?
9 posts and 4 images submitted.
>>
Unused gas will go bad.
Rubber parts and hoses will likely be rotten.
Old tires might go flat and decay.
Ded battery.
Mold everywhere if the storage unit is not dry enough.

i planned on putting it on jackstands and draining the coolant. debated whether i should put a cover over it since it was going to be in a garage. was also just going to straight pull the battery out.

was also thinking about tossing some mothballs and dessicant packs in the inside.

You have 30 seconds to justify why your car doesn't use a Supercharged LS9 engine.

>sounds absolutely fucking god tier
>muh supercharger whine
>monster torque, 600lbs ft or more
>relatively compact for its power output
>reliable as fuck
>aftermarket support is near infinite
>maintenance is a piece of cake
>fuel economy isn't too awful
>women will all want to suck your dick

Basically if your car uses any other engine you are probably either autistic or you just aren't even trying.

Contrary to what your 16 years old brain has thought up, cars don't make women suck dick. American V8s all sound the same dogshit. Fuel economy still horrid for practical application considering the local fuel prices. Excessive effort for swapping it into my car model. Regulatory hurdles.
