Going to buy a new car this year, currently driving a Toyota MR-S.
So it's either a BRZ for the handling or a 370Z for the power. I love driving corners, so handling > speed. Anyways, the 0-60 of the BRZ is horrible. Furthermore, I don't want to have to change the engine on a new car. (turbo)

In the market for a used [spoiler]Automatic[/spoiler] car, years 2010+. Budget's ~13k.
I really like the design of Mitsu's Lancers (GTS Trim), but the interior is pretty bland, and I hear Mitsu ain't doing too well.
I hear Mazda is a great brand and has done a massive turnaround here in the US, and their cars are great. I do like the Mazda 3 & 6.
What brand & car should I go with?

Me because I really like the shape of the body. I as a kid always wanted a 2002/03 Lancer OZ Rally/Ralliart one (dem yellow ones). Just thought of making that dream come true of owning a Lancer, yes, even if non-Evo.

I don't drive cars with power windows because I think being able to crank your own windows is an important life skill and makes you a better driver. Manual windows are also more reliable than power windows and are easier to work on. I think a real man should be able to crank his own windows; power windows are for women drivers. And besides, power windows are a luxury feature and cars that come with manual windows are much cheaper.

how can I rig my windshield washer fluid/tank so that it sprays faster and hits tailgaters??? If I use thinner hoses will the water come out at a higher pressure (i.e. more velocity) so it shoots up over my windshield and onto theirs?

Do you ever notice shitboxes that should have died decades ago?
For instance, if I'm going down the road and notice a Mercury Topaz that is somehow still functioning, I'll say,
"Holy fucking shit, a goddamned actually functioning Topaz! You rock, dude!"
It's not that I'm impressed with that line of cars, it's that I'm impressed with *that particular one*, and how it's a survivor beyond all expectations.
Some other cars that would fall into that category that by all accounts shouldn't be on the road would be the Pontiac 6000, the Chevette, the Cadillac Cimarron, an S-10, 2nd gen Accords, any non-Z Datsun especially the B210, a Samurai, a Dodge Omni, and the Holy Grail of shitboxes, the Yugo.
I haven't actually seen a Yugo in a while, but oh how I'd love to rock one, just for the fucking shock value.

Saw a Dodge Shadow the other day. It shocked me.
Engine suddenly died in the middle of the road while running errands this morning. Steering remained mostly responsive but I had to switch into neutral to push the car off to the side of the road. Tried turning the ignition when I got onto the shoulder and it started up again fine.
Hasn't happened before, so I don't know if it's a fluke or not. Likely culprits?
I'm sure /o/ has better things to do then diagnose a beat-up sedan, but I'm supposed to do a six hour road trip tomorrow and I need to know whether my car's likely to crap out halfway there, so any advice would be super appreciated.
