Anybody have any experience with the Honda fit ex? My wife is interested in a 2017 and was wondering if anyone has a testimonial
>>16602820
Fix the current car or get a civic for 3k. No need to spend 15k on an econobox.
I can honda FIT THIS DICK inside your wife's ass
Fits are ok. The CVTs require fluid flushes like every 15k. Other than that its great.
What the fuck /o/ 2012 1500 5.7l with 47k miles on it. Already needs a new clutch fan, water pumps leaking, vibrates at 50mph, front end is moms spaghetti, and sounds like wheel bearings are going. Why cant chrysler make a good vehicle
Why can't you morons stop buying Chrysler?
>>16602663
but but the commercial said america's longest lasting truck
>>16602663
>Why cant chrysler make a good vehicle- 0 post shown.
Because MOPAR.
Just kidding
Sadly i still like JEEP, Dodge, Chrysler and Fiat but holy shit they make some of the worst cars IN THE WORLD.
I guess its just their culture of doing whatever the fuck they want then throwing car parts at a empty shell and go with what fits and (barely) works.
Hell im sure someone more clued up than me could explain it all in great detail.
GM is more weird and strange when it comes to car makers
>Makes some fantastic cars (Vette, Camero, Cadillac etc)
>Yet also sabotages themselves, closes down LONG standing and successful arms like pontiac and holden only to steal all their great designs and tech
>Actively shoot themselves in the foot OVER AND OVER again from the 1960's to today for no reason at all
Its like watching a train wreck in multiple dimensions, it just keeps happening over an over in slightly different ways and each new iteration of fuckup is more intriguing and befuddling than the last.

What's the best way to go about learning the actual mechanics of automotive vehicles, short of going to a trade school?
>>16602553
Your question is ambigous. Do you mean working on vehicles or understanding their movement.
>>16602553
>>>/t/725510
and buy a car and its manual, start wrenching.
>>16602558
Working on vehicles, actually understanding what every part is, what it does, and how to fix it.

A good idea would be telling us what bike it is
have you tried turning it off and on again?
Do you have any experience with stolen vehicles?
I had a new scooter stolen recently. Police give zero fucks.
With some digging, I've found that at least 2 other scooters of the same model have been stolen in my area in the last 3 months.
What is the most likely situation here? Assuming it's the same people, what would they be doing with multiple units of the same model?
I'm a poor uni student; I had saved up money in a part time job to get this thing, and I took immaculate care of it, because despite the innate dinkiness of a scooter as a vehicle, this thing was my pride and joy. I lost my job 5 days before losing the scooter, and have no money for another one. The thought of someone walking up to my scoot, hotwiring it; putting their scummy ass on it and casually riding away with essentially all my hard work and money as if it was theirs, is killing me.
What's the best way for me to somehow get my scooter back?
>>16602307
Get a dualsport and learn how to shift gears cunt
It baffles me when I see people park their motorcycles or scooters in public locations like on the street or parking garages. It's going to get stolen, lol.
>>16602307
>>16602348
It really sucks man, but that's what happens when you live on or near a college campus. I have friends that use heavy duty bicycle locks for their motorcycles and scooters because they don't want to take that risk.
I know of a couple guys who got ground floor apartments specifically so they could bring their scooter or motorcycle into their apartment.
I doubt they even hot wired it, that takes too long and is too suspicious. I gaurantee you it was 2+ guys in a truck who just picked it up, threw it in the bed, and drove off in under a minute.
The best chance you have is to have the the VIN registered as stolen. Hopefully it's not being chopped up but it probably is. Those guys probably have frames with clean VINs. Look on Craigslist and ebay and see if it pops up. Hopefully there is some defect on your scooter to help identify it. Something like a dent in the gas tank could prove the scooter is yours.
which one would you choose if you had the money? the a7, cls, 6 series?
>>16602304
Can I choose none? I'd rather choose none.
If I had to get something in that class, find me a Cadillac CTS instead.
none of them.
they are all 7 year-old overpriced junk

What's /o/s opinion on saab?
Bought myself a saab 9-5 a few months ago and im lovin it so far.
love em
next car is gonna be this
I own 3, but I wouldn't recommend them to anybody that isn't prepared to work on their car by themselves. The 1st gen 9-5 and 9-3 have enough saabness to confuse the average mechanic.
Absolutely adore them. Looking for a car right, some are in budget. Lust for one but I know its either going to drive me mad or bankrupt me. Which doesn't take much.
I wish my girlfriend was this nasty

>Not making your car your gf
Hey /o/
You guys are my last resort because I literally have no idea what to do at this point.
I know you guys are more car experts, not law experts, but hear me out.
I am a poorfag. I found a nice subaru forester for $800 that runs great and has literally no issues except a small power steering leak.
The guy who sold it to me told me it was a no paperwork deal because it had no name to it.
Because I am unfortunately not a big skeptic, and I was desperate, I bought the car and took it home. Turns out this car is still registered to a guy 6000km away from where I live and the guy who sold it to me isn't even the dude who "owns" it.
The insurance people won't touch it now unless I get a signed bill of sale from the registered owner and that owner is Chinese (he has a chinese name) and the bill of sale I sent to him plus the letter explaining what I need never came back to me and I am pretty sure he doesn't speak a word of english.
I really need a fucking car for work and I don't know what to do. I don't know if this car is stolen or not. All I know is that it's in my driveway and I can't use it and it driving me insane.
Who do I contact for this? How can I get this asshole to sign the bill of sale? Who I involve?
Please guys holy fuck I'm screwed...
Pic related is not the car, same kind though.
2002 forester S
>not checking the title/guy's license to confirm he owns it
>getting scammed by CL fags
Call the police on the seller and report him for curbstoning at the very least.
>buy another forestor shell
>hard but slightly more legal way
>transfer every part to new shell
>easy way
>scrape vin and replace with new one
>???
>>16602004
Look I know I fucked up.
I realize I fucked up.
I got fucked.
Is there anything else I can do? I mean what can the police do? If anything they'll just come and take the damn thing and I'll be left without a car and $800 lighter...
I've been folllowing a Japanese importer page and they recently got some Skyline GTST's within the price range that I'm considering for a new car. My original intention was to finance something nice and new but desu if I can get my hands on a Skyline instead I'm going for that.
What kind of options would I have to finance that? Anybody have an idea what the rates might be like?
good luck insuring a right hand drive import that you have financed
>>16601949
Doesn't seem like it'd be too hard except not being able to quote it online. I'd just have to go through a smaller company like grundy that specializes in collector cars. They have restrictions (like 5k miles a year and requiring you to have a primary vehicle that's not this one) but they will based on my reading
>>16601946
Rates will be high. Put as much down as you possibly can and try to pay off quickly.

Long story short, about 7 years ago I had a really good collection of touring car races from the 70's to early 90's these included a lot of DTM, ATCC, BTCC etc etc
I belonged to a really good torrent website that I've since forgotten the name of, something to do with a fish?
Unfortunately, shit happens, I didn't back much of it up and that laptop broke. Lost 95% of it all, fucking terrible.
I really fucking love this stuff /o/
Does anyone out there love yesteryear racing like me?
To contribute I have one torrent I've found recently, it's bloody great if you love BMW.
