Which 90s Japanese sports car would be the most practical and reliable car to use as a daily driver? Would any of them even be practical?
Is there a cut-off point when it comes to mileage? Would it be wise to consider a Silvia or Prelude that have 120k+ miles?
id go with a nsx. just a v6 nothing special

I forgot to say *cheap* Japanese sports car.

Can anyone give me a report on an infinity G37 I want to buy?
jnkcv64e99m603783
mainly want to know cost of registration. has no licences plates and salvaged title.
>>16610509
>buying a salvage title car
shiggy diggy. anything you save up front will be spent in the long run through higher insurance if they insure it at all and fixing anything that wasn't done properly.
>>16610509
look at this shit. not worth a dime.
>>16610509

fucking lol, dude
How do I adjust my idle point on my car
(2003 Ford 4.6 engine, do have performance tuner if needed, idles at 1100 when cold, want it at like 700)
Could this idle in cold be normal if it goes down when the car warms up?
>>16610466
IACV yo
>Could this idle in cold be normal if it goes down when the car warms up?
Yes, all cars idle high when cold, it's all part of the emissions system.
Ok, thank you guys. Stupid question but Im young and couldn't find the answer anywhere. Is it easy to adjust the idle via the idle set screw on the TB?
Or is that best not to do?
So I was topping up the oil on my BMW E90 320I last week and I wasn't paying attention and spilt some on the side.
Fast forward to yesterday and I find a little but of oil under my car and the underside is wet. I checked all the gaskets and the engine and it's clean as fuck. The only wet parts are the bottom of the car. Is it the oil I split or am I fucked.
Serious answers pls
>>16610341
To fix this try sprinkling a little road salt inside the car. This should absorb the oil and protect your car against moisture. I always sprinkle plenty of road salt under the hood of my car and haven't had a problem yet.
>>16610356
I'm doing that too and never had a problem
>>16610356
I'd rather not. I just want to know if my engines leaking or if it's my autism from last week.
Does anyone recognize these wheels? Got them from an old neighbor. He said they used to belong to his kid who had them on a Camaro. They look like AMG Penta wheels or Ronal R9s, but I can't find anything on them saying so. The guy said they were 16x8, but they look more like 17x9 to me. I think the bolt pattern is 5x114.3
The rear
Who else speeds up instead of slowing down for these radars?
>>16610246
Mine stop at 99 unfortunately
How accurate are these things? I drove past two of them yesterday, and my speedo was about 4 mph slower than what the sensor was projecting.
Kind of hoping I haven't been speeding without knowing it

Why did manufacturers stop making lightweight 4 cylinder pickups?
Will they ever come back?
>chicken tax
>fuel economy requirements
>liberals ruining everything
they didnt
rest of the world still has them
Americans never buy them so why waste time trying to sell them here
>>16609672
Japanese companies have factories in the US so chicken tax means nothing
Detroit protectionism turned into laws so they can continue selling their pigfat giant pickups.

JUST
so anon tell me how your job and or business is going or how your working on that degree
surely you are working towards getting one instead of just complaining
Good for him then. I don't really want one.
can't win them all
How come you faggots all claim to be car enthusiasts and drive 1.0 diesel hatchbacks? I probably have by far the fastest car on /o/ (pic related).
My shit is a Supercharged 4.0 XK8, upgraded pulleys and exhaust and it's probably got 450bhp or more. I could probably do the quarter mile in the time it takes most of you faggots to get to 60mph, and the best part is because of my 6 speed auto I could do it while asleep and getting head from your girlfriend.

What does /o/ think about chevrolet?
Is the 2nd gen cruze good or nah
>>16609541
i have mate who has one, its nice cruisin in the cruze
Better than GMC.
Is this a good way to learn manual or nah?
No. Clutch is just an on/off button in almost all racing games. It's not like that in real life.
You could get an actual car for less money than most new wheels
>>16609336
But then it would have a bunch of problens, lots of miles, broken ugly interior, scratches, etc.
What does /o/ think about Ford?
This board is incapable of independent thought and just parrots other shitposters to fit in, do you really care?
You know what they say Ford stands for, dontcha?
Fix it again tony
So /o/, how did you find your sticker guy? I've met a few guys now who had some uncle or some shit that could get registration stickers as long as the car looked like it should pass. I got a car that has a singed (not dated) title transfer form from both parties but I've been running in to a million and one little things to get this damn car to pass. I need to get this car in my name but I need a current sticker first ya feel?
if u in tx u dont need a sticker.
why you need a sticker first? here in illinois anyone with a current registration can get a duplicate for $5 at the dmv.
so if you really wanted you could go to the lobby of the dmv and ask someone
since i dont know where you live i cant really say bro.
>>16609264
What's your actual issue? Won't pass emissions?
