Hey /k/.
Thinking of leaving my "home" to join the canadian military.
Dad is an alchoholic and abusive and has fought me a couple times,tired of dealing with him for the past 10 years.
Dont really have friends outside of 3 people who Ive known for a long ass time.
I play video games,watch shows and focus on school to distract myself.
I go shooting to blow off steam and socialize.
I started going to the gym 3 months ago,making good progress.
I have no aspirations other than "hey the military might be cool and probably better than here,right?".
I dont have bad grades,and could go to university but I dont want to.

Currently drunk innawoods at midnight with a data connection,wondering what the fuck Im going to do with my life.
Not suicidal,just sad and lonely all the fucking time.I feel better when Im with others at the range but when I get home it all comes back.
I just want someone to tell me Ill be ok.
Military doesnt seem so bad,right?

Weapons tech,medical tech or infantry.
I want to see what my options are and go from there.
Basically i want something that I can leave the military and be able to market as a skill,OR enjoy it and make a career out of it in the military.
I dont care about making 100k a year,even 60k CAD is more than enough to live comfortably.

Plan is do my time enough for benefits,then do reserve while working another ok paying job and focus on hobbies and bettering myself.
Dont care about getting married unless I meet a perfect woman which is highly unlikely.
