Most everyone I talk to agree if the public hadn't turned against the war over Tet, the commies probably would've had a year or two tops before they were facing a full collapse.
We basically withdrew at the cusp of victory, but how much longer would it have taken to unite the country under the South or at least forced the North to the bargaining table on our terms?

I was looking for a thread centered around military wear and the only milsurp thread is centered around guns, on top of that the only thread on here about clothing is about everyday wear.
Well, I want a thread centered around equipment, clothing, and uniforms used in militaries worldwide.
I'll start by sharing my Alpenflage winter uniform.
TASS-90 (I believe), cheap shit online for a parka/trouser combo.
M-1971 Swiss helmet with Alpenflage cover.
Austrian Bundesheer paratrooper boots. (mine were made in 2003, thanks Kommandostore!)
The strap running across my body is a Polish OM14 gas mask bag, wanted something to look like some sort of utilities bag for the picture, will probably post an update when I get a harness for it.
CYMA underfold AK, yeah, I'm into airshit, but it's far cheaper than ordering a replica or a real firearm just for collection purposes.
Working on buying a SIG-552 from a friend to complete the Swiss look.

After years of building Bug Out Bags, INCH stuff and everything survival I can ruck for 3 days to a year I've always wondered what you guys would consider never needing something else.
I'm looking for a one-and-done list of bomb-proof items to carry as an EDC level one all the way to a level 3 Bag of stuff so tough it'll outlast my grandchildren.

My personal set up,
Level 1 belt carried items.

Since this is /k/
Handgun is a sig 320 carry in 45acp. I already edc this, so at a minimum I would have my level 1 and level 2 on hand in my car.
And depending on the situation and how much time or space i had to take rifles...
I have an ar15 that weighs 6lbs with optic. This would be my go to gun.
If i could, I would also take my 10/22 that i have in a magpul backpacker stock, weighs about 3-4lbs.
And in a dream scenario, i would also grab my bolt rifle.
There are no last forever gear. Only last at least a decade gear
