The placement of that grip.
>disgusting
How? The further down the rail system the more control you have of the weapon
>>27966605
You'd want a angled grip there buddy
Stubby grips are better at CQB and you'd want it closer to the magazine on the rail.

Also tfw I want a Garand badly but they are rare as shit in Canada because its one of the only not non-restricted rifles with more than 5 rounds permitted.

Questions that don't deserve their own thread:
Hey /K/, what does a fire mission request sound like? I'm doing a military op thing in an RPG and wondered what a good artillery, mortar, and air strike request would sound like (dealers choice marines or army, American) dialogue-wise. I didn't want to have to rely on CoD/Battlefield dialogue stuff.
>>27966023
I dono, I've never volunteered/served/thrown my life away/fucked up so bad that I joined the military.
On an unrelated note, I want a red dot for my rifle. Should I get an Aimpoint pro or an Eotech 512?
My question, why didn't you fucking check the catalog OP?

A Marine 9 line CFF for mortars is as follows:
1. ID (callsign)
2. Warno (type of mission, adjust fire/shift fire/quicksmoke, illum, etc, etc)
break, FDC will do readback
3. Location (grid, direction and distance from OP or known point and corrections.)
Break, readback
4. Description
5. Method of fire (# of rounds for FFE, shell, fuze setting. This is optional; FDC will do what they think is right based off of description.)
6. Method of Control (at my comand, TOT etc. Again optional, FDC will fire when ready if not stated.)
Break, readback.
Artillery is similar

You dun goof'd
Flamethrowers are great weapons for smoking out or intimidation. Also they had exhausted all other options. Yanks and Russians would have shot thermobaric rpg into the cave.

I LOVE CHINA
Hey /k/. I want to learn some abilities, as if I were to emulate Metal Gear Solid Solid, and I'd like to ask you guys what are your opinions on companies that offer bodyguard training for VIP protection.
I've found one that offers...
>Bodyguard course
>Personal defense course
>Shooting course
>Diving course
>CPR course
bodyguards are just there to remove any potential major legal or political fallout from someone defending themselves
Just learn all that shit on YouTube
>>27965347
>Metal Gear Solid: Solid was a spin-off game from the popular Metal Gear Solid series. Released in early 2004 for the Nokia N Gage, it never got wide coverage. Despite this, some consider it Kojima's least autistic game. In MGS:S, you play as a bodyguard for VIPs. Your character, Troubled Woodlouse, works for a bodyguard company which is a wholly-owned subsidiary of Mother Base. Throughout the course of the game, you are sent on missions that include bodyguarding, personal defense, shooting, diving, and CPR.
Have you spent $2000 on a glock?
That's a lot of money for a single use. Owning a destructive device sounds like it sucks.
So I want to get a Kalashnikov patterned rifle, mainly because I'd like to be able to use TULA ammo and fire off a couple hundred rounds whenever I go to the range without spending a ton.
When looking into variants, fuck. There are so many manufacturers and so many different types that I'm a little dazed.
So, /k/. Who has an AK? What do you think about it? How much did you spend (in $$, but also in time to do any mods)? Who makes solid quality AKs that are affordable for a piss poor college student?
Image is the "AK14" by parabellum arms that has a few of their mods mounted onto it.
I feel like I should add that so far I'm looking at a WASR II, and doing some sanding and filing work internally to make the action smoother and the trigger pull shorter. I figure with a budget of ~$1200, a $500 rifle gives me some wiggle room for a stock, grip, optic, etc.
>>27965152
WASR-2's are gonna be the most affordable fully converted 74's on the market and they're good guns. The issue is finding reliable amounts of 5.45 in this country, its not like 7.62 or 5.56.
DDI, Century, and Arsenal are usually good to go. If you want a historically accurate build look at Atlantic Firearms.
Here.
Depends on what style of ak you want, either an akm or ak103 which is the modernized style
Guys i have a question and i dont know where to ask it so i will ask it here hoping you will understand. Where i live, you cant just have guns. so if you want one you got to buy one from the streets, and i want to buy one cause i rather kill an ISIS when i see em then just be behaded for being an 'infidel'
The thing is i want to make sure that if i have the gun, and i get caught by police, that i dont get blamed on for possible earlier kills that have been done with this pistol.
So my question is how do i clean a gun that i buy from the street in order to be safe to get caught with (exept for possesion of firearms)
Yeah, i rather get caught with a gun then without.
>>27964994
Write your congressman and tell him your gun laws are shit. Then go out door to door with a well written argument and ask for signatures. After laws are changed because you went our and worked for it, go buy yourself a gun legally.
Tldr: don't be a nigger.
>>27965050
Yeah, then get beheaded while asking for mommy government to please allow guns.
Okay, say you get a gun and carry it. If guns are illegal, how are you going to learn to use it? How are you going to feed it?
Carrying isn't enough, you need to work on your practical shooting skills, clearing malfunctions, etc. If there are no legal ranges and no shops for buying ammo and supplies, how are you going to learn to defend yourself effectively?
>tfw Scandinavian
>tfw fucking hard as hell to own a handgun
>tfw pretty much open borders
>tfw all kinds of shit going down
>tfw actually contemplating situations in which you could steal weaponry from the police just so that I won't be a sitting duck if shit hits the fan
inb4 diary
I know you don't specifically mention laws in your post other than stealing weapons from a police station, however you do talk about difficulty in legally acquiring firearms. The criminals you worry about don't give you the courtesy of following the law, so why do you give it to them? Why not take advantage of porous borders with eastern Europe to get yourself some firepower?
>be me, fellow scandinavian
>attend a piss easy hunting course that only took a few evenings to complete
>been a gun owner since I was 16
Even though we aren't supposed to own weapons for self defense and I bought it for hunting, I do for all intensive purposes own a shotgun I can defend myself with.
>>27965022
Defend your home with would be a more accurate description. Your ten shotguns in the attic and locked in a safety box wouldn't have helped much if you were sitting in a certain cafe about a week ago or if you were chilling on a certain island some years ago.
