Does /k/ like grenade launchers?
Meh. No. Not in games or movies really.
>>27961090
Fugg yeah.
What's not to love about a thing that launches high explosive fragmenting nuggets of death, and goes bloop?
>>27961426
This^ if grenade launchers and THE FUCKING AMMO weren't classified as DD's every fucker on here would have one. (including me)
I've been holding out buying a old 1911 because of the CMP rumors.
H.R.1735 has been vetoed by Obama, no hope now?
https://www.congress.gov/bill/114th-congress/house-bill/1735
>>27961058
What rumors?
>>27961073

Has anyone heard anything new about the new production MP40's in 9mm? I want one so bad, but I haven't heard anything since last January.
>>27960976

>GSG making something that's not in .22lr
I smell bullshit.
Man that sounds cool as hell, it will probably be shit though, knowing GSG
I can has gunsafe thread?
Best safes for specific price points?
Any holiday dealz goin on?
>>27960931
Do you live in the place you plan to die?
If the answer is no, the best advice I've seen is to get a bunch of smaller safes instead of one large one. They're FAR easier to move around(or steal I suppose too, although they should be bolted, and that's X times as many safes to break into with your valuables divided up).
I have a 36 gun safe(more of a fireproof box) and it was an absolute bitch to move even with a dolly, and I didn't even have to go over anything more than a raised spot in a doorway.
>>27961071
I'm a pretty young mobile person. Perhaps another option. Fake walls, hidden in furniture?
>>27961182
>I'm a pretty young mobile person.
Then yeah, I'd actually advise against a safe for now. Hide them.
How much cash do you have invested in guns?
How ghetto of places do you generally live?

probably with a time machine, considering this is from years ago and it's still justified
So I bought an M305 (inb4 canadian) and it is full of fucking cosmoline. Literally the plastic it comes wrapped in is full of this oddly comforting smelling, but highly greasy and disgusting, well, grease.
what do /k/
Soap and hot water did it for mine
Embrace the cosmoline, and use the excess as a sexual lubricant.
>>27960624
Pour boiling water over the parts.
Washes right off.
A rouge Tu-95 is coming after you. It will not stop until you're dead. It will never run out of fuel or ammunition, and it will always know exactly where you are. What do?

Hey /k/ I want a 22lr revolver. Inexpensive is good but honestly if i gotta save pennies for a bit I'll do it. Any recommendations?
This thing is sexy but I'm not sure if it's really cost effective to be looking at a gun that is no longer manufactured.
Heritage revolvers are great, cheap .22 revolvers. They're only about $200 and you get a .22wmr cylinder you can swap in. You can find them anywhere.
You can get a heritage or H&R if you want but they are low tier. Poor fag guns
Expect heavy trigger pulls and fixed sights where point of aim is not point of impact.
Save your money and but a decent gun
Unless they have been abused any ruger, or smith is far superior to the poor fag guns
Smith model 17

I have one of those. Probably the most fun I've had with a .22. Nothing better than whipping it open and sending all the spent brass flying at once.

WHY THE FUCK CAN'T MY 10-22 GET THROUGH 3 ROUNDS WITHOUT A JAM?
>90% the jam is a complete failure to eject despite being lolblowback action
>rest of the time it stovepipes
it does this with every ammo i've put through it (mini-mags federal automatch, cci standard velocity, armscor high velocity and more) and the extractor looks sharp, I bought the gun new and have fought my way through maybe 200 rounds
what fuck
>>27960160
use the warranty
>>27960160
Send it in via warranty. Mine doesn't do any of that shit.
clean the chamber before firing
Sup /k/, M1A or PTR 91? I got an opportunity to get both at a decent deal, but can only afford one. Which would YOU go for if given the chance?
>>27960095
sprongfoiled a shit
PTR best battle raifu

The fuck?
they're both fine, but ptrs aren't for everybody. handle both and buy whichever you like more.
if you do go for the ptr, get a port buffer if you care about your brass
What are these things called? It's a concealable telescoping spike weapon, perhaps Russian.
Never seen this before
Does it fold out or is it propelled out
>>27960072
I'm sure you press the button and it drops out and locks with gravity. It could possibly have a spring behind it however.
>>27960062
Where did you get that? Don't worry, just stay put, we have some folks from the health department coming over to take a look at that awesome combat knife you have.
I have a few questions about the swords from Conan.
First, this sword has some of the crossguard going up about a quarter of the blades, along the edges.
Is there any history behind this?
Would it actually serve a beneficial purpose?
It seems that right where the center of the swords mass is, is where they are.
Here's another..... casting a sword.
It works for bronze swords perfectly.
But iron or steel? I've heard it wouldn't work. But would the work done to the blade by hammering in the final shape, edges, and fuller be enough to get a decent sword? The problem with casting is the grain structure that forms when cooling. That has to be broken up somewhat homogenously for the blade to have flexibility.
Here's the second part of the first picture, with that sword in its scabbard.

Probably inspired by pic related.
