barsony IWB leather holster. Has good reviews and the only complaint is that it is a bit soft making reholstering a bit sluggish, but it covers the gun and seems sturdy enough to where it won't fall apart.
First holster, I'll buy a pancake or shtf holster next year sometime. I think this one will suffice until then
>>28019248
I've always had a bad experience with inside the waist leather holsters. Is go with a kydex holster for your first one. Check eBay.
>>28019272
>bad experience
care to explain?
>>28019248
I've actually been looking for an IWB for my M&P Shield but figured I'd get /k/'s take on holsters as well. The only problem I can think of regarding leather would be maybe...chafing? I've looked at Kydex holsters too but I'm just curious about everyone thinks is best as far as comfort goes. Thoughts?
this may be incredibly autistic, but right now i'm composing a table of organization for a fictional military.
pic related is a mech inf division.
me what assets, specifically
>HMG
>mortar
>AT
>Field Artillery
are available at the following levels
>platoon
>company
>battalion
>regiment
>division
Also, how the fuck do I use compose the symbol for Aerial Recon (dirigibles, which are neither fixed wing, rotary wing or unmanned aerial vehicles)
HMG at company/battalion level
Light mortars at company level, medium mortars at battalion, heavy mortars as division-level
AT: depends on whether or not it's man-portable. ATGMs and handheld missiles would be company level or lower, maybe even squad level. AT guns are probably company/battalion, or a separate AT gun battalion at division-level.
Field artillery is regimental level at least, likely a separate battalion or regiment (as a corps-level asset)
Interesting thought experiment!
>>28019257
>Light mortars at company level, medium mortars at battalion, heavy mortars as division-level
What constitutes light/medium/heavy classification? Calibur of the round?
Also, does the US even use light mortars now adays? Or have they been effectively replaced by M203/320/Mk19?
Are there AR lowers available online that have mag release, buffer tube, and take-down pins already installed? I'm not interested in building the entire lower and I don't want all the extra parts from a complete lower.
Yeah, just look for non stripped lowers
>>28019097
>Babby wants to build an ar but doesn't have the skills to put in small parts.
Just buy a complete rifle if you can't be bothered to put on a receiver extension and small parts
>>28019129
This. Building isn't for everyone OP, it's ok.
its good.

Just put it on in the background.
Call of duty is actually the most rigorous training for real life war that exists. Military training can't compare. Is it because of the weaponry?
In a scientific study conducted by buzzfeed, two militaryfags and two pro gamers went head to head in each teams respective expertise. The results were as expected: the veterans couldn't handle the instensity and skill needed to play call of duty whereas the pro gamers excelled at a shooting range. This study is available on buzzfeeds YouTube channel.
What is it about call of duty that churns out superior soldiers? Why can't military training come close to training by playing call of duty? Is it the superior gunskill, weaponry and tactical training call of duty has to offer? Call of duty select only the finest weaponry known to man while the military trains you with what is essentially a stick.
One thing is for certain, Id rather have nadeshot fighting in Iraq to defend our freedom than any inferior military fags.

Hey /k/, I'm a volunteer on a WW2 museum submarine, anything you guys want to see or have questions about? I'm no expert but I'll do what I can.
crawl into torpedo tube and post pics looking back inside into the sub, go feet first
>>28018850
I don't know much about subs, but how big is the sub you're volunteering at? How many people could live in it, and for how long?
>>28018870
I'd love to but there's an issue with one of the tubes. Has a leak, all in the forward room are sealed as a safety precaution, aft room is either full of junk or a torpedo
Lets have a /k/ related gifs and webm thread
>>28018848
as you wish, Anon.
o/k/
I'm looking to upgrade from my LCP which I'm giving to my wife to carry.
Any Ideas To Make My List

>>28018759
Perfect! Now only to find a holster and a few extra mags.

224s are nice... but heavy and thick.
M&P 9c maybe? 30-50% cheaper, lighter, thinner...
Is there any weapon that can defeat a katana in 1v1 no holds barred combat?

I live in a third story walk-up apartment.
I don't think I'd have an issue.

does /K/ hate nutnfancy?
>>28018303
Some do some don't
do we have to have this thread every day? Opinions on Nutnfancy are pretty mixed. You like him or hate him.
Unlike James Yeager, who is universally lauded as being the master of ditch digging and man-pussy porn
I definitely don't get the appeal, some of these faggots are somehow able to watch him spew autism for a fortnight. I'm assuming you become a nutnfan purely due to sunken cost. The man has just taken an hour of your life to explain that the new model whatever hasn't actually fixed any issues, but comes in 3different shades of coyote tan. If you admit how pointless your life just became, suicide is really the only rational option, but if you don't have the balls to do what is right, you end up trying to ruin other people's lives, by saying he's thorough and informative so they go make the same mistake.
tldr: nut'n'fandom is basically an autistic gear queer zombie virus.
Afghanistan/Iraq thread? YES
Special Boat Service carrying out an injured combat dog in Afghanistan
>get well pupper edition
Thats a pretty long boat journey to get there.
>>28018263
It's a special boat, they go pretty fast.
This is something that goes beyond the gunz/no-gunz thing.
This is the ultimate bullshit.
>Be me

>Body armour is illegal
Seriously?
Source: https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Bulletproof_vest#Legality
Will they try to regulate also the size of my pants?
My question is:
- What serious arguments have been proposed by government officials or MPs in order to support such legislation? They cannot be arguments such as the no-guns ones, because a ballistic vest is passive self-defence.
I will not accept answers such as: "it's the government who wants to fuck citizens from behind by banning ways to defend oneself". This may be the implicit agenda, but I wanna know the official reasons!
Please don't tell me it's some Common Law bullshit. E.g. it happened once with Ned Kelly and then for the next 200 years you are not allowed to wear body armour. It can't be like that!
>>28018042
>Please don't tell me it's some Common Law bullshit. E.g. it happened once with [someone] and then for the next 200 years you are not allowed to wear body armour. It can't be like that!
I hate to burst your bubble but thats pretty much exactly what I heard the reasoning was.
Fuck this nanny state
>>28018042
How are the police supposed to shoot you to death if you have armor on?
Sauce on the armor in Oapie's pic?
Let's have an Arsenal thread and recommend a new gun to each person posting their collections.
