Looking for my first ccw purchase and I'm curious as to what everyone here carries.

I want one. I keep seeing pictures people are posting after their tax stamps got approved and it's making me want to grab a pistol and send in a Form 1 on it.

But, I'm probably less than a month away from having a stamp approved for my 10.5" AR, and I just submitted a form 1 for my SLR107UR. I've spent way too much money the past two months.

I could put it on layaway, but I'd rather have it in hand so I could submit the Form 1 asap since it's taking 5 months now.

wanting to get a rifle (first one, scrub at semi automatic rifles) and the DPMS .308 or AR-10s are catching my eye. I hear they are not the highest quality but they're not all bad, a get what you pay for type thing. should I avoid it or buy one?

On the subject of knives, What is the best knife for slicing game's throat when out hunting ?

I had my eyes on a butcher knife. I would use this for the above mentioned throat slicing and also some wood working.

Me;
>Swedish
>Family owns large house in the countryside
>Room for around 30 people
>Two hunting rifles with around 70 rounds of ammunition there
>On a peninsula, only one road there
>Everyone in the area know eachother
>Already somewhat self-sufficient with solar energy
>Honestly, I'd do pretty damn well

There's a cheap and really easy way to collect your brass after shooting. You don't have to walk around hunched over pecking at the ground.

I am looking for a list of pistols that have some features that I like, but am having a hard time finding any such guns.

I am looking for a pistol that is all steel, compact, double stack 9mm, has a decocker, for which night sights are available.

The spec lists on some manufacturer sites are not always clear, and the websites sometimes cluttered/ hard to navigate.

Can anyone help out?
