If your average nuclear bomb were to impact over Los Angeles how bad would the effect be in Portland, Oregon
>>28269418
It wouldn't
>average
There is no such thing when it comes to nuclear bombs.
>>28269418
It would be as if a mouse farted in the next county.
what's the best ar15 magazine on the market right now excluding 100 round beta mags?
i dunno, I just buy pmags.

what is the potential post-discharge career for an 11B, assuming they don't go to college, because I go to basic in about nine hours and I figure I ought to know now. I was also a quarterback on my highschool's football team
pic mostly unrelated
>>28269179
>post-discharge career for 11B
>no college
Nothing. You will have literally no skills anyone wants, and I'm not just being an asshole. Being good at shooting people, walking and raking leaves will leave you with the ability to work in landscaping or fast food.
Try to get on a deployment so you can jump on Post 9/11 and go to school when you get out or you're fucked m8.
>>28269238
I don't know how to do that, my recruiter said he would handle all of that stuff as long as I went infantry.
>>28269249
GI bill will be on your contract regardless, but it's shit unless you deploy.
Go on a deployment, and when your contract ends, talk with an NCO you trust who has used GI bill before and get him to help you set everything up to help you get as much as possible out of school and the bill.
Reconstruction of a 14~15th century Vietnamese blade.
I've never seen anything of this type before. Maybe you guys have? Any other example?
The ruined, excavated blade.

Isengard/10 would equip army of Uruks with.

Looks pretty fucking thick. How long is this piece?
Hey /k/ I've got a Russian capture K98 that I picked up not too long ago for 400 dollars. Should I restore it and if so, anything special you'd recommend?
>>28269150
>$400
It better be in decent shape if you paid that much for a Russian capture.
If the gun needs a lot of work, then I would take a look at Miltech, they do some excellent restoration on milsurp firearms.

>>28269555
>Re-bluing
lolno.
I got it in decent shape. Metal components are in great shape, wood has seen a few better days, zero cosmoline, minimal stains. I'm satisfied.
>>28269769
this may sound outrageous, but perhaps you can post some, you know, pictures
What makes a gun meme-tier, /k/? Saw this monstrosity on YouTube earlier, does this qualify?
Also, weird guns general I guess.
I don't think gimmicks qualify as memes.
That gun was designed to be a .22lr "pistol" to mount to a larger gun like an AR15. On paper it does that really well. However as I understand, it jams a lot and there isn't really a lot of use for it other than being an oddity, quieter and cheaper ammo, and a bit of a range toy.
Has the internet associated "meme" with "kinda weird shit" now?
>>28269129
that thing was a huge sack of shit. fte and hot brass wedging into your hand.
>>28269129
>What makes a gun meme-tier, /k/?
Nothing.
Calling any gun a "meme gun" automatically makes me disregard anything else you say. I've already pegged you as a retard, troll, or otherwise unreliable person for any info.
So I shot a cz 75 sp-01 at a range today and loved it.
Anyone here have experience with them?
No, you're the only one here that has ever used that gun, congratulations.
meme gun
>>28269160
Can u elaborate?
I'm usually on /O and have zero handgun experience.
S&W M&P Bodyguard 380: Opinions? I handled one at my LGS recently and it felt surprisingly good, considering I don't like compacts. Considering getting one.
>>28269080
>.380
Just get a Shield 9.
There is not point in getting . 380 pistols when such small, inexpensive, and light 9x19 pistols exist
>>28269080
The trigger pull is looooooooooong.
Seems like being Easy Andy would be so fucking cool, just driving around and selling illegal high resale weapons in 1970's NYC to customers for probably dope commission...
Which begs the question,
If you were in Easy Andy's line of work, who would you work for, where would you sell, who might you sell to, what would be your sale tactics, in what era would you sell weapons, so on?

With my luck, things would probably turn out like in The Guest.

probably the mafia or some other organized crime faction, I don't want to sell for any street gang hood rats
cheap, mid teir to high teir things. depends on whos buying. Im not showing up to somke rich guys house with a HI point and im not showing up to an average jpes place with a Wilson combat
I look over all people first. Anyone who needs a gun for protection, like poorer famalies or shop keepers worried about their safety, maybe some rich guys looking for well armed bodyguards. gangsters can find guns on their own. Id NEVER sell to a guy like travis. way too obvious he's crazy and I don't want it to come back to me or get shot in the ass if he doesn't like my sales
dress nice, offer my own input and have a wide array of options. Toss in some sweet deals like a holster or cocaine for free if its your first purchase
50s, 60s, 70s. Maybe the 80s-90s but crime was more rampant though that time so id be more hesitant
Show me celebs who have no fucking clue that they're doing.
>>28269020
Who is that?
>>28269115
Paula Abdul. I've seen previews for this shit. Looks awful.
Is it a terrible idea to put a long eye relief scope in place of my rear sight on my mosin? if you slide the rear sight off, there's a 3/8 dovetail mount underneath it that you could mount a scope to. It's completely reversible and doesn't permanently alter the mosin at all, and works with the normal straight bolt.
>>28269008
You can do ANYTHING to your weapon. ANYTHING. You can take a blowtorch to it, smash it with a hammer, paint it pretty pretty pink and shove it up your ass.
Whatever makes your weapon enjoyable and useful to you is totally 100 percent fine. If the scope works and keeps a true zero, go goddamn crazy.
>>28269008
No.
>>28269008
Need good anti-goatman gun. What's /K/'s opinion?
I recommend making some acetone peroxide and putting it into a pipe bomb.
You'll have to hit it with a rubber mallet a few times to really do the trick, but it's worth it.
>>28269011
But what if it's too quick to accurately hit with the Acetone Peroxide bomb? wouldn't a tungsten Railgun be a better choice?
>>28268996
Thermite firebombs.
Make a shitton of them.
I know very little about guns except safety and shooting and shit. I want a handgun that's cheap ~500, can shoot well and can fit in my hand comfortably (pretty big dude 6'3" 280)
I'm probably going to get ridiculed but I'm just looking for some anonymous help
Pic related American classic 1911 I've been looking at getting

$500 is pretty low for a quality full-sized handgun. My personal favorite recommendation would be a CZ-75B, incredible value for money.
>>28268993
Let me add something. Don't buy a shitty cheap 1911. For a quality 1911 you're probably looking at $750+.
>>28269026
Cool thanks bud lots of useful information there. And the CZ-75B was another I was looking at, looks like a great weapon
How long after moving to the United States could someone from another country (i.e. Canada) be allowed to possess a firearm? I understand this is mostly state dependent.
If you have resident alien status you can purchase firearms.
>>28268953
What does that mean? What are the requirements? Is that just another way of saying an individual would need a green card?
>>28268970
yes, the green card is basically your permanent resident card.
So, I'm looking for a rifle as I will be getting spending money soon, I don't own a tactical rifle and am looking to get one, preferably with iron sights. I have a price limit of $2000, so /k/ WHATS the best tactical rifle?
>>28268883
AR-15 or AKM/AK-74, pretty much your main players right there in terms of tacticool.
If you want to drop a bunch of money on a super nice rifle then save up a little bit and buy a SCAR
If you want to save money and buy/build a nice BCM AR and have a nice chunk of change left over for ammo/optics/accessories, or buy an AK (I'd go with an SLR 104 for 5.45 or SLR 107 for 7.62) and have a nice chunk of change left over for ammo/optics/accessories.
>>28268883
get a deagle
no but get a Tavor or SCAR
or get a tax stamp and buy a pimpin mac 10
