So I'm saving up to move from Commiefornia. What city has the most gun stores/ranges per capita?
>>28267483
I already have $3k for moving saved. I fucking hate California and it's dumb no funs laws. Any help is appreciated
Nice ammo can you have there.
>city
Move out to the country, buy a sizable plot of land, and make your own range. Your neighbor will very likely be an FFL holder.
So, why didn't Syria use its S400's systems today?
http://www.nytimes.com/2015/12/21/world/middleeast/samir-kuntar-hezbollah-syria-israel.html?_r=0
This was over Damascus, not some craphole likely held by FSA/ISIS/ISIS-lite/etc.
>>28267386
1. Syria doesn't have any
2. Damascus is far from the S-300's
3. No one is touching the Jews with America overhead
>>28269013
>1. Syria doesn't have any
Yes they do.
>>28269063
>>28269013
It's the 5P85SE2 variant on a MAZ chassis. More commonly on the BAZ chassis, but in effect they are the same.
Just started watching pic related, is it any good?
I honestly loved it. It's very, very rare when I'd consider actually buying a television series but I'd buy a Longmire box set in a heartbeat.

>let's see if this trapdoor sharps carbine is registered to anyone
>REGISTERED
otherwise I like it.
>>28267383
My god that show. Complex sympathetic characters with bad ends everywhere
I apologize if this isn't the place to ask, but I figure /k/ would know this the best.
I'm on my first leave, and I have no idea what to do with myself. Feels like I can't do anything with the people I used to spend my time with, and everything just kind of pisses me off. Just been sitting at home for the past few days. Been gone for 8 months and everyone I knew is still doing the same shit. Working at shitty fast food places or absolutely nothing.
How do I deal with this? I'm trying to stick it out for the sake of my family, but I just wish I was back in the barracks already.

See family, hit and quit a few girls with your soldier status, sleep in and make waffles, then go back.
Show me a more powerful military equipment than this

A US marine. Most deadly weapon on the planet. Semper Fellatio.
Where's the safest place to shoot yourself?
Say you're on the frontlines and you need a non fatal gunshot wound to get you off the front and taken to the rear.

Is it really necessary for the average rank-and-file infantryman to carry a pistol anymore?
Pistols make sense for people like vehicle crewmen who work in cramped spaces, but I don't see why a grunt needs one.
>inb4 muh backup wepn
Couldn't you just as easily swap out the pistol/pistol ammo for more rifle food?
>>28267128
The average infantryman does not carry a pistol, nor have they ever. It's a perk for officers and for guys who actually need them, like machine gun crews.
>>28267128
>Is it really necessary for the average rank-and-file infantryman to carry a pistol
No, that's why they don't. Stop playing call of duty.
>anymore
>implying they ever did
>>28267128
Only COs who hate their weapon crews have pistols
my brother in law likes guns. what can i get him for $30 or less that he would be able to use? i think he has a 9mm and some kind of rifle.
>>28266932
Some kind of rifle ammunition?
>>28266932
Israeli 9mm surplus.
Ammo is nice. Maybe some Speer Gold Dots since you're a Jew.
Has anyone here ordered firearms online? I understand that you need to have it shipped to an ffl, and that's fine. I was just wondering which ones are reliable. Pic related, what I want to get, I found it on budsgunshop.com, are they any good?
>>28266931
Bud's is fine.
Get the UPC number and do a search on slickguns.com and wikiarms. Buy it from the store with the lowest price.
>>28266931
I've ordered from Bud's, J&G Sales, AIM Surplus, Classic Firearms, and AGS Armament.
Every transaction went smoothly, no problems. You're good to go.
>>28266931
buds is a big name online, theyre g2g.

Whelp, should i go ahead and get pic related? i found one for 250.
I was leaning towards the ruger american until i did a bit of reading and people seem to swear by the fvsr. is the standard mark ii with a 21 inch barrel more accurate?
im leaning towards savage, but im open to any suggestions. i dont know anything about cz, and i dont particularly want to spend that kinda money, but im sure i could be talked into it.
ive got an xt22 that i like, but im gonna leave it as my nonscoped plinker because the barrel is slightly canted and im too lazy to send it in. the sights sit straight so its not an issue, but if i added a scope the axis would be slightly off. so im just gonna leave it be and buy a separate 22 bolt action to use as my scoped plinker.
suggestions?
I own both but only shoot the ruger. the savage is as a rifle is really nice, no real complaints there (aside from it not having irons but what ever). how ever the mags are pure shit. I went through about half a dozen and they all did the same thing. they were fine for about 100 rounds then they would start to spit all the rounds out about half way through loading. I would have to take pliers and bend the lips of the mag and go from there...on every mag....every 100 rounds or so. so in the trash it goes.
the ruger? no complaints other then bx-25s will having trouble feeding the ~12th round so i just use 10 rounders.
I had the savage first and bought the ruger cause the savage was so bad.
If you've read up on the FVSR you know that a lot of people complain about the stocks being flimsy and replace them with the boyds tacticool one. It's $100 more to do so which kinda negates the price. If you're going to spend that kind of money the CZ would be the better choice. Buy once cry once for a rifle you'll likely keep for life.
If you still want something cheap though the Ruger American Rimfire is an option and is going to be nicer out of the box than the Savage. I'd say poke around rimfire central for advice but it seems to be down at the moment.
>>28266935
CZ455 is always a great choice if the budget allows. Or a used 452.
Hey guys,
So I took some noobs out shooting today and now I'm back home cleaning my funs.
I've only ever field stripped to clean my cz, but I was wondering if I should fully disassemble the gun to clean it?
I'd rather not, if I don't need to, as I'm afraid I won't be able to reassemble it correctly.
Can anyone give advice?
>>28266110
>Ever full disassembling a gun
It's like you want neverending nightmares
>>28266110
I only detail strip my guns when I first bought them so I can spray down the parts with preservatives and reassemble them.
After that, I only field strip them.
>>28266120
I detail strip everything I can get my hands on, every chance I get.
Let the horror flow through you...
How much should I pay for a No. 1 MK III wire wrapped SMLE?
Pic related
>>28265995
over $9000
>>28265995
what's with the wire wrapping? Just to keep the foreguard attached?
I'm no SMLE expert obviously
>>28265995
Does it come with the grenade launcher?
Got some awesome "Team Soldier" multicam BDU's at a local store, $25 for a set in good condition. The pants look pretty good with a grey or black v-neck tshirt - how acceptable is camo in public? No markings or patches on anything.
Pis is what I got, jacket + pants for $25. Worn in to "comfy" level but in great shape
>>28265994
In the sticks when you're trekking or hunting or something? Fine.
In town? Gopping
>>28266025
What does gopping mean
>>28265994
totally OK to wear in public as long as you aren't trying to pretend to be military. Just make sure you have no rank patches, etc
