Three scenarios. When do you use deadly force /k/?
1. Someone breaks into your house at night, you can't hear if they are armed buthe you know they broke in the door and are storming in. Do you shoot or?
2. Your out and about and someone threatens you and tries to rob you, they don't pull a weapon but are large and forcefull, do you shoot or?
3. Someone approaches you and threatens you after shouting at you, says they are going to beat the shit out of you, do you draw your weapon and shoot or?
The main thing I want to know is what would you think is the right thing to do in these scenarios. When would /k/ shoot or defend themselves. Topic brought on by a new article about self defense

1 is shoot without hesitation. Castle Doctrine specifically applies to, at least in my state, preventing the commission of a felony. B&E is a felony.
2 is threaten with retaliation, and possibly draw, but don't shoot unless they advance on you.
3 is try to talk it down, and prepare draw. Draw and prepare to shoot if they make good on their threats.

Plenty, I'm sure. The idea behind this general is to provide a centralized place to constructively and objectively brainstorm on how to solve a problem with a firearm, knife or tripfag (even though the solution may not be readily attainable).

I would like to advise a few basic ground rules:

>do not make a claim without a source (just use wikipedias sources, ya lazy cunt)
>ensure statements regarding weapons are objective and quantitative, not qualitative

The PKM is a pretty iconic general purpose general machine gun that has seen extensive use in countless conflicts since the cold war.
Chambered in 7.62x54r, the design is as simple as it is rugged. Several advancements have been implemented but in the long run the design is relatively unchanged from the original.
