say for example the EU vs Russia
how / where would fighting take place?

>>28348895

WTF do you think is going on in Syria right now? That's a proxy war between world powers. How do you not know that?

You have 2 minutes to explain why you have never shot a home invader with a glorious nugget revolver

Haven't had a home invader

Hi-point is literally a better choice
What's a good non-firearm weapon that can be legally carried in a car? (e.g. not brass knuckles)
I got an administrative job in a prison, so CC'ing is obviously out of the question, and even leaving the gun in the car may be a bad idea - prisons aren't some shop where the owner has a "no guns" sign taped up; it's a place specified in the Ohio Revised Code as being off-limits to any civilian firearms.
Obviously, I want some kind of protection for the drive to and from work. Would a taser or a stun gun be good choices?
I do have a pocket knife, and I'll probably leave that in the car, but I'm just wondering if there would be a better choice.
Thanks!

Car keys.
A tomahawk
Are you expecting someone to crash into your car and fight you or something? Doesn't seem like you need personal defense weapons for a drive between home and a "Ohio Reserved Code" prison
Is it usual for a soldier to shit/piss himself on a firefight?
Shit happens, but not usually unless they get shot.
Isn't it usual for humans to occasionally shit their pants throughout their entire life?
Haven't you had a shart yet?
I'd imagine the more common situation is for soldiers to get literally caught with their pants down and having to shimmy to cover and return fire while they may or may not be done.
Hey /k/ let's talk about nuclear weapons; personal, military, or otherwise.
>>28332446
I would create a nuclear bomb in the dimensions of a soda can, then randomly distribute them to vending machines
>>28332454
/thread
>>28332446
>Hey /k/ let's talk about nuclear weapons
how about no. any time we try to have a thread about nukes without Oppen it always ends in pure retardation. it's like psy ops and biological warfare threads. really, any unconventional warfare thread in general
So let's say one of us gets enough money to buy a sea-worthy vessel, something 90 - 200 feet long that has a top speed exceeding 12 knots.
How many of you would like to go pirate hunting? Like purposely sailing the Gulf of Aden trying to lure skiffs to try and take a ship with 20 heavily armed /k/illers hiding behind the gunwales?
I'm game.
Why go to the carribean when you can go to Somalia.

Pick one.
Way to epically waste dubs.
I can't believe it came out just 2 decades after the civil war. I knew it was an old design, but not THAT old. Anyways, if you could modify the original design, with manufacturing costs, power, reliability, and accuracy all in mind, what would you do?
Me?
>Wad Cutter points
ever shoot a handgun with wad cutter bullets? or a pellet gun? Make's perfect holes in paper, and makes shooting VERY rewarding when you cut out bullseyes with.
I'm happy with the bullet weight, velocity, and cost of .22LR. CCI's knows how to make them damn near 100% reliable. Remington can't figure them out though.
I would ban fudds from being able to hoard it
Ruger 10/22 in .25acp.

Classic has these, and I took the bait and bought one. It's supposed to be 1960-1980 mfg, and in new / un-issued condition.
There are theories I saw online that Tula made them.
Did I mess up, /k/?
>>28362114
>Tula made them.
Why would Tula make rifles for the Finns?
>>28362132
The narrative was that there was some kind of pissing match between the Finnish government and Sako. And it was after the Belgian contract ones were already done.
>>28362132
Lurk moar newfag.
Finnish mosins literally all have Russian captured receivers.
Can we talk stocks for a moment?
I want to carve my own, but I know little about wood. And since this is my first go, I want to keep it as cheap as possible because I will fuck up.
So, basically What is the cheapest wood to make a functional stock?
>cheap
Just don't bother
Laminated hardwood.
>>28362124
Can you make a laminate, op? Have enough clamps?

In term of pure dogfighting alone, who would win?
>>28359943
The MiG has head tracking IR missiles, but those aside, I would have to side with the 22 simply cause thrust vectoring.
>>28360004
AIM-9X has the same capability now. The Mig is dead before it gets a shot off realistically.
>>28359943
What do you mean by "dogfighting"? Do you mean a guns only engagement?
Probably about even. At such close distances, the stealthy aspects of the F-22 would not longer be able to protect it, although it still might get the element of surprise at it swoops in.
What does /k/think of my vepr?
It was between this and a psl, and I'm glad you guys convinced me otherwise.

Newfriend on /k/ so I'm sorry if this is rehashed garbage, but I really wanted to get your opinion of FPS Russia.
I'm not talking about the fake Russian accent or any of the gimmicks.
I just wanted to find out what you think of his taste, opinions and knowledge of firearms and if he's shit or not.
>>28359459
Here we go...
>>28359485
By your post, I'm guessing he's shit and that this thread is about to get a lot of hate.
Sorry if he's obviously retarded or whatever but I'm not trolling or trying to start any shit, I'm just a poor noguns trying to figure out what he's about
He is slightly humorous until you find out he's fake Russian.
