I'm about to get a Math AS at 24.
My original plan was to transfer to a uni, and finish up a mech engineering degree.
But now I have been considering joining the Navy or AF, ambition to get started in something compels me. I'm losing my patience being in school and want to start working something meaningful. After joining, I will take advantage of the GI bill and finish my degree, eventually.
What should i do? how does being on reserve work? does my associates degree mean anything in terms of pay or jobs/mos/rating?

Where would you go in a "Shit hits the fan" situation? Middle of 2016. Total race war erupts between blacks and whites. Black Lives Matter protesters take matters into radical hands. They start banding together and killing whites whenever they see them. All other races are in free for all as well. One in every three states manages to maintain some sort of power/control, while the other two states go into total anarchy. Situation is only getting worse. There are good blacks as there are good whites, but you can't tell the difference, and you're too scared to take a chance in trusting someone you don't know might kill you. Highways and interstate are blocked up with traffic jams and every now and then mass shootouts on the roads. You're in one of the states (Whatever state you currently reside in, make sure to post) that has fallen into shambles. Where do you try to take refuge until order is possibly restored? What equipment (That you currently have) do you take with you? Who do you end up trusting? How will you survive? What's your strategy?

Trigger pull weight of various AR 15 Complete Lower's
I am building an AR. I have a complete upper picked out, now I'm trying to determine who to buy a lower from. I'm curious if there is any information out there regarding average trigger pull weight for various complete lowers. I'm considering a PSA or Spikes Tactical complete lower as of right now. I've come to learn that most lowers come out of like the same 3 factories, so I don't really give a shit who makes it, I'm only concerned with the price and the trigger pull weight. I like something in the 5 lb range or lower. I've googled around and can't seem to find any information on this. I'm a bit of a newfag, sorry.
