Can a black powderfag tell me what's wrong with this?

Found your problem
mods pls prune
>tfw you will never get to shoot gooks
>tfw no one will invade America so all your doomsday prepping is a meme
>tfw your state keeps making guns less fun
Feels bad, man.
>you will never be part of the greatest generation
>you will never shoot VCs with an A1 or an M60
>you will never bash skulls in with a sword during the First Crusade
>you will never live in the wacky future timeline where everything is nuclear powered and we fight wars on the moon
>>34698674
Look on the bright side OP. Maybe we'll get invaded by aliens soon and get to fight them off.
>>34698674
It's funny because I like conflict and gung-ho but that is very taboo across the political spectrum
Thinking about a pair of Blackhawks, one in .45/.45 and one in 9mm/.357
Dumb question, but the latter can also shoot .38 right? I just think it would be really cool to have a pair of single action revolvers that can shoot a total of five different cartridges
with the .357 cylinder in it, yes.
Then you could get a lever gat and shoot .357/.38 out of it. Buffalo bore has some 125 grainers that absolutely scream out of a 18" bbl. Starts to get close to 30-30 ballistics
This band is over, we aren't playing anymore. But since a lot of it is /k related from shooting incidents to gun culture I thought I'd share it now that it's a year past dead.

How the hell could this thing work?
I thought maybe caseless ammo but ot ejects cases in-game. It really boggles my mind. Any other gun designs irl or in games that make you ask "wtf?"
>>34698185
Korobov spess slav magic rifle but with more traditional AK elements like the upside-down handguards. Mind you, half if not all of TF's guns are loaded with computers that aid in firing the gun, regulating temperature, etc.
That being said
>G2A4 and A5
>chambered in 6.19x97mm
I wonder how in the hell that would look.
>>34698248
I know but it just makes me think how complicated would those guns be? And they are standard issue to militia grunts in the campaign. And why gi through the trouble of making a robotically feeding bullpup? And why does the top part slide on it's not like having that out of the way makes it more compact, it's just the top bit that slides back and forth.
Bows and arrows are the greatest weapons out there fuck you.

They are good for sport hunting
but in a battle it seems obsolete

What country has the best shelter halves?
The Polish ones look pretty damn nice, most of Eastern Europe seems to have the same design more or less, but Polish ones seem to be one of the most readily available type.
I like the way the Polish ones look put together, and the fact that you can assemble a decent ground umbrella out of a single half and one set of tent poles, but is it is big enough to two people to comfortably sleep in when fully assembled?
I know US shelter fits two people well, and they have really nice liners to make blankets out of too.
Anyone?
>>34699194
I know jack shit about them except that Russia has a cheap surplus tarp that they can wear
>>34698086
> is it is big enough to two people to comfortably sleep in when fully assembled?
They are surprisingly sizable.
Does Target Sports USA request proof of age? Asking because I'm 20 years old and would like to buy some rifle ammo there (legal under federal law, which says 18 for rifle ammo, 21 for pistol ammo); they have a pretty good deal for 22 Long Rifle going on right now.

Fedex dumps it at your door no questions asked if you get it shipped, checking ID costs extra last time I ordered shotgun ammo.
Same with UPS, no questions, just a package at the door.
Not sure if they check for warehouse pickup, or if that's even a thing.
a few places used to require an id on file, last time i remember that being an issue was ten or fifteen years ago, everyone just sends it. just don't pay for adult signature required.
For most places, the ammo sales requirement is like the child lock requirement; most don't give a shit and don't comply with the regulation. Granted if you come in looking 12 you might get checked, but if you look like a normal adult you're not going to get asked.
Not sure about that specific retailer, but just go in, buy the shit, and act confident. Don't say "well I don't know if I can buy this" or some shit, just buy the fucking shit and make small talk.
>inb4 nobody on 4chan can make small talk
The only place i've ever had an issue wanting to see ID is fucking Wal-Mart, and I left that shit and $100 worth of other shit at the counter and walked out.
>>34697971
I've been shipping/receiving with UPS/FedEx/USPS for over 10 years and never once have I been asked to present an ID. They don't give a shit. Hell, until they updated the computer and handheld systems several years ago, half the drivers would just leave that shit at the door even if an ID was required.
>mfw got a settlement check back in 2012
>valued at 24 THOUSAND DOLLARS
>insured, adult signature required, etc
>motherfucking driver runs up to the porch, just throws the envelope down, and runs back to his truck
>I was actually home at the time
>a fucking 24 thousand dollar envelope could have just flown off if the wind picked up or someone could have grabbed that fucker
>TWENTY-FOUR THOUSAND DOLLARS
I should have called and cussed someone out, but I had my money so live and left live.
Useless Military Units
>SWCC
When the hell is the last time these guys were even necessary to a mission? Now I understand that they're use for infil/exfil of SEAL's in a coastal/riverine environment but even that seems so extremely limited that it's hard to justify the manning and training of these guys. They aren't trained to do VBSS, direct action, or any other various skills other SPECOPs units have.
Is there any good reason that I'm not understanding on why the military keeps SWCC around?
>>34697421
>aren't trained for vbss.
You might be surprised.
Hell their conventional coastal offshoots made christopher 'uncornered' dorner.

Hello /k/, I have recently acquired a nice looking nugget practically for free. I don't really know much about it, do you think you could tell me anything about it from the serials? (armory, whether its rearsenaled) It's a hex receiver and I can provide as many pics as needed.
>>34697063
It's a M39.
>>34697063
Can somebody post some recommendations for some /k/ /lit/? Preferably looking for non-fiction. However, anything is welcome. I'll list some of what I've read as well.
Pic related, just finished it. It's pretty easy to see the impact Dispatches had on the way Vietnam is portrayed in pop-culture, even if it's not all entirely true.
>“There was a famous story, some reporters asked a door gunner, 'How can you shoot women and children?' and he'd answered, 'It's easy, you just don't lead 'em so much.
>Saigon cafarde, a bitch nothing for it but some smoke and a little lie-down, waking in the late afternoon on damp pillows, feeling the emptiness of the bed behind you as you walked to the window looking down at Tu Do. Or just lying there tracking the rotations of the ceiling fan, reaching for the fat roach that sat on my Zippo in a yellow disk of grass tar. There were mornings when I'd do it before my feet even hit the floor. Dear Mom, stoned again.
I have a stoner 9mm 5.5 ounce buffer to use for a suppressed ar pistol in 556.
The thing is that it's too big for the recoil spring. It won't go around the recoil spring.
Wtf?

Please post a picture.
>I have a 9mm buffer.
>5.56 pistol.
>anon asks a question
>give him an answer and a fully detailed link explaining everything with tons of good info
>everyone only reads my post/sees the pic and never the link
This is why we can't have nice things.
boo hoo you big gay baby
>>34696640
When you post links to things like papers or something similar you can't expect people to come back after 10 minutes. They either don't read it or they do, in which case they'll probably require some time. If it's not about arguing but actually educating by example you ought to just post the link and say this should be read. Leave it at that because everything else just makes people shitpost. Now it's just about the quickest and easiest way to shit on another per reply. I make the same mistakes but I think you really should just leave it to the link instead of doing your own explaining.
>>34696640
the argument leading up to the link was probably terrible so they ignored it, or you were taking a joke response waaaay too seriously. Actually being correct about something isn't even the point of half the arguments on this board.
Does anyone know what camo that is on the left? Is that Multicam Tropic or something?
