What can i expect from my OSB?
Also what military leaders would /k/ recomend?
Alright /k/, I just bought a Glock 19 MOS. A buddy of mine had to make some cash fast and made me an offer I couldn't refuse. What red dot sight should I get for it? I'm debating between the Vortex Venom, Leupold Deltapoint Pro, and the Jpoint red dot. I don't want an RMR or a fastfire. Am I missing anything? Anyone have experience with any of these? Also post pistols with optics,
Why not get the rmr? Only 350 from cabelas. Its cheaper and better then the ones you mentioned
>>34699776
Why don't you want the RMR? It's pretty much the industry standard.
>>34701178
>>34701938
The RMR was not designed for pistols and gets beaten to death on them.
whats the name or nomenclature of the jacket on the far left? i used to have one and it was sick, but i can't fucking find it online. if any of you /k/ommandos know what its called let me know
it kind of looks like a czech m85, but its not. those hip pockets don't have a cover on them or any buttons.
This is close, Anon

It sounds like from what people are saying online, the 41f submission rush for NFA items has been mostly worked through by the ATF.
What do y'all think about the wait time moving forward? I've never submitted for any NFA items before but I really want a short barrel shotgun. Do you think we're still looking at year long waits for approvals at this point?
>>34699582
my buddy Joe wanted to get into NFA stuff... Joe forgot a comma on the form... Joe and his dog are dead now ... I miss Joe
I dunno but I hope to fuck it gets better. I want a suppressor and the hearing protection bullshit isn't going to pass so looks like I'm applying for a fucking tax stamp next year

Time for Japan to activate the Gundam
For some reason I'm not able to hit anything I'm aiming at with a subcompact 9mm I rented at even five yards. I have good form, the gun doesn't flop around due to recoil, I've been around guns for forever but have not had much actual experience shooting.
I am gonna buy this certain gun soon but I don't want to have it and be shit with it for however long it takes to get decent. I get next to zero practice as it is. Do anons have any tips for using my rare practice time even more efficiently? Should I start at near point blank and work up from there? Should I get something that isn't a meme subcompact, like my second choice which would be a certain .357? I could get a bigger gun but I've seen people do well at 20yds and more with the one I want, so it's not impossible so it has to be just me. None of that "you need a better gun to be better" shit. I'd rather start with something hard to get good. And I always have pic related if it'll help me with practice.
So say I'm going to buy a P938 as my first non-.22 pistol and you can't talk me out of it, any tips for accuracy?
shoot more good
Where are your groups relative to the target? If low left (like 90% of new shooters), work on your grip and trigger pull. Squeeze harder on the front and backstrap with your dominant hand without shaking, make sure your left hand doesn't leave a gap at the bottom of the grip, and squeeze the trigger slowly with your intermediate phalanx roughly parallel to the target.
>>34699527
Shoot a lot. 9mm is dirt cheap and every gun has little quirks that you might or might not like.
There's a million little things that you can learn about and read about and know to improve, but ultimately you just have to keep practicing and putting rounds downrange. Book learning will help, but you have to actually do it to apply it, and it will have more value as you get more experience.
Just how big of an impact was tobacco during war time In terms of morale?

Wheres the weapon? Looking for the weapon. 1000x magnification, weapons got to be here somewhere. Yep no weapon.

Do bullet producers pay royalties to the inventors of the bullets that they are manUfacturing?
>>34699494
Most of them cook up their own proprietary shit or make publicly owned caliber.
So no. Usually not.
And If they are making snowflake rounds they didn't invent, they're usually making it for someone paying THEM royalties because they're the only producer of the ammo for a special snowflake gun.
A lot of traditional trademark probably gets wiped when its submitted to SAAMI
.300 blackout is technically ".300 AAC blackout" because AAC invested a lot standardizing .300 whisper
How much are they making off of .300 blk rifles/ammo? I'm guessing none.
generally no because most bullet types are public domain by now and new bullet designs are generally marketed and sold by only one company. prior to WW1 the german company DWM sued the US government for copying their patented type of spitzer bullets, but due to the outbreak of WW1 the US government just ignored their case. after the war they would pay royalties after it was decided the US did unlawfully produce patented bullets.

Who's up for a /k/ meetup on the Cosmic Highway?
Does anyone know what type of weopon this is in this scene? I saw this growing up and never figured it out, but I don't know weopons that well and though I would ask you all here.
that's a m72 LAW
Do anyone know much about them? I know there are a few different companies making them and was just curious which ones were good or shit?
The cost is the same or more than a real one. Just buy a surplus one off Gunbroker.
>>34699075
I would feel bad shooting an original a lot.
>>34699517
You're just giving it new life, just be sure to honor the spirit of the gun.
I bought a couple of new magazines for my SIG P239 and was told to take some bullets and just pop them in and out to loosen up the spring and break it in.
I noticed that over time the brass started to develop a ring around the middle of the casing, visible slightly in the pic. Any cause for concern?
>>34699004

You dun goofed OP.
>>34699023
P239 is best gun. Glockfags go home.
>>34701098
Not him but I'm Sig all the way, Glock fucking sucks ass, but if you're gonna do a single stack Sig please just go with the P938 and top off the magazine for the same effect but almost half the weight.
