Guns you want but can't justify buying
>>34689434
Why not? USPs are great for resale. If you get a deal on one you can probably enjoy the damn thing for the next decade and sell it for as much as you bought it for.
>>34689434
well over half of my wishlist and gun porn folder. In fact if im being honest close to 90% of it.
>inb4 its not about NEEEED
I have lots of duplicates that are too similar, some are even the same gun just with a different finish or size or a few extra bells and whistles. Im still going to buy them all though
>>34689434
I'm in the exact same situation.
I need your help /k/. I'm looking to buy a compact carry piece and can't decide what to do.
I already own a glock 19, but I like the way the compact 1911s feel in my hand.
Are Kimber Micros any good? How about Rock Island?
General compact thread as well.

>Are Kimber Micros any good? How about Rock Island?

they arent small either so if you want it for ccw look elsewhere
>>34688497
Sig P238 or P938 for that 1911 look and feel but extremely tiny form.

>>34688483
The sniper and the rocket launcher remind me of the sniper and launcher from Halo:CE, anyone else see the similarities?
>>34688659
yea its exactly what the sniper in halo was based on
People on mewe be like
>I've put 100rds through it. Practically brand new
A lot of people I know are more interested in learning about proper concealed carry as opposed to learning the proper etiquette for open carry. If you open carry, or are looking at open carry, I strongly suggest you watch the video in the link below.

I just got a PVS-14 recently, and am considering how I want to use it, thinking of mounting it to a .300blk rifle for hog hunting at night. Post your night vision, discuss it, etc
>>34688230
how much
>>34688241
$1630 after shipping, came with a helmet mount it but no J arm. Has a blemished tube, looks like a laser squiggle.
Stick in pooper. Have friend check for polyps.
Post your gifs/webms of gun spinning, speed drawing etc
This one took me a little over an hour to learn and I have a ton of bruises.
>NEVER DO GUN SPINNING WITH A LOADED FIREARM. MOVIES AND VIDEO GAMES ARE NOT THE SAME AS REAL LIFE. I HAVE ACCIDENTALLY DRY FIRED THIS 14 POUND DOUBLE ACTION TRIGGER WHILE POINTING AT MYSELF DOING THIS. IT'S NOT EVEN SMART TO DO IT WITH A REAL GUN, DO IT WITH TOYS INSTEAD.

>you're pretty good
Hello /k/. I recently became interested in handgun shooting. After watching countless Youtube videos I see that isosceles is preferred. The problem I'm having comes when it comes to grip. Instructors tell you to bend your wrist all the way out. I find this uncomfortable and find myself resorting more to a "modified weaver" kind of stance (still squared to target, but have one elbow cocked downward at a 45 degree angle. Is this acceptable, am I overextending my wrist, or am I being a baby?

Any of these will do you fine, just choose what's most comfortable and effective.
>>34688081
It's supposed to be a little straining, the strain is what makes it easier to keep the sights from moving.
However, as long as you can see the sights and you shoot fast and accurately, the way you're shooting is perfectly fine.
I want a K98k for an all round utility/hunting rifle. are these feasible and reliable for that purpose? Is ammo readily available?
>>34687950
It would work fine, yes. I killed my first deer with a K98k.
>>34687950
>Is ammo readily available?
yes
its not cheap but its fairly easy to buy
No. The days when people bought milsurp to get an cheap shooter or a knockaround gun are long behind us. Today, both the rifles and the ammo are too rare and expensive for that. Buy a Savage Axis II or a Ruger American Rifle - both can be had for $300-400, use ammo that is cheap and common, and are fine tools for what you have in mind.
Why does James Yeager (who looks like the love child of Motorola and Buck Angel) spend so many videos shilling for various products? Even in the video wherein he denied being a shill, he shilled for a pair of brass knuckles. Does he get paid under the table for all this product placement?
>>34687766
you seemed to have an obsession with this gentleman.
perhaps you should write him a thoughtful letter explaining how you feel.
>>34687774
To be fair, he's not the only one. Every fucking magazine is full of product placement to the point you can't tell the articles from the ads.
When is a gun too expensive? What are your tips on buying guns? What should I pay attention to? How do I determine whether or not I'm being ripped off?
I am a pleb of guns and just had recently started considering them. Your assistance is very appreciated
Here's an example: http://ww w.gunbroker. com/ite m/6594 29237 does this cost too much, or is it the right price? Start with that.
General rule of thumb is to never pay MSRP, and never pay full price for a used gun even it the seller says like new.
As for AI rifles, good luck getting that info here
>>34687758
>too expensive
When you can get it somewhere else cheaper.
That's when.
never pay more than $800 for a gun
