What sort of degree should I study? I was thinking of doing a bachelors degree of the arts (majoring in international relations and political science) and a diploma of language (majoring in Russian)... Are these qualifications of value to intelligence agencies/DOD?
Just get an AR15
>Are these qualifications of value to intelligence agencies/DOD?
They are, but you haven't got much hope as an analyst if you have to come to 4chan for easily googled information.
https://www.cia.gov/careers/opportunities/analytical/intelligence-collection-analyst.html
>bachelor of arts
Sure, you'll find employment..... as a burger flipper.
Go STEM or go home. Since you want to become an intelligence analyst and work for the US government, get a dual major in Computer Science and Mathematics, with double minors in Political Science and International Relations. An important thing to keep in mind is that the government will NOT hire you if you go shit tier universities such as State level universities. You need a diploma from an Ivy League or from an university on that level of prestige and excellence. I know you won't make it, someone who posts on /k/ doesn't have the attention span necessary to get as far as Calculus, so I'm just telling you to give up on that dream in advance.

Why is everyone on Armslist so fucking retarded /k/? Why would someone think its okay to offer me a Taurus 1911 as a straight up trade for a sig p220 I have listed for 650 that comes with grips, ammo, mags, and holsters? When does school go back in session?
Anyways, whats your funny or stupid or whatever online gun store story?
>be me
>go on Armslist looking for new gun
>see a pretty good 220
>wants 660 for it, which is more than than new
>decide to troll him and offer him a Taurus 1911 I don't really have

How is that relevant?
Hey /k/,
I love the look of the Arisaka Type 30 'hook safety'. Are these possible to find and purchase for a decent price (i.e. not ~$10,000) in the United States?

Yeah, they usually go for around $700. One or two on Gunbroker when I checked a few days ago. They're neat rifles.

If you're into milsurp and guns but you weren't an infantryman does that make you a POGseur?
Yes.
Who gives a fuck?

I don't think so. Being ex-military regardless of grunt status or not makes collecting guns and milsurp much more normal.
I would never call a ex-pilot a poseur for collecting infantry guns. It's not like he can go out and buy a $500 helicopter.
Hey /k/ I'm thinking of enlisting in the Canadian military, I was wondering if any /mil/ fags could tell me what it's like.
I just came out of high school w/ a 3.5gpa and am planning on going to uni to become a game dev, though I was considering joining the military first.
What are the physical requirements like? I'm currently a 6,4 160lb skelly and have minor scoliosis, will this cause any trouble?
And what's the average infantryman's experience like in the military? Would you recommend it to someone? Please just tell me about your experience I'm just looking for information.
Thanks.

Youll get physically thrashed to the point of breaking, treated like a child, cold, wet, carry heavy shit for long distances, sleep, eat and fight from a shell scrape you spent all night digging, and generally get fucked around to the point that youll curse the military.
However, youll make the best mates you could ever wish to have, learn a lot, gain mental robustness and drive, accomplish physical feats you never thought you could, shoot guns, and have great banter. Id say the banter and brews is what gets you through the shit times, and getting through the shit times and laughing about them doesnt make them seem bad at all.
Go to uni first though, if you have the chance, do it, get a degree, if youre still hot on the army then go for a commission, or if you really want to experience life as a grunt, go enlisted.

Hello /k/-ons,
What infamous guns would make the best collection?
>Zimmerman's kel-tec
>Breivik's Ruger
Anything full-auto, since they cost as much as a fucking house now.
Anything owned by a famous Nazi, cartel leader or dictator.
You'll end up with a lot of golden AKs and engraved Lugers.
Anyone have any experience with this stuff? It's a spherical powder too which I've never used before, I always thought they were kind of old hat.
what do you think of this bullet?
it's a blank bullet with a pellet of buckshot i think, latino gangs use this with blank guns

a round ball fired in a smooth bore by a blank? can´t be very accuarte, I gues it doesn´t need to be...

Can I use bb guns for trainings to improve my accuracy or do I risk getting some bad habits if I do so?

it will sort you on how to use iron sights
but not much else

train with the gun you mean to use
Bb funz are an elementary training tool. Like if you have no firearm experience whatsoever.
If you want an inkling of similarity to actual firearms, buy a higher power pellet rifle.
looking for a good holster for a glock 26. what does k recommend? is https://www.walmart.com/ip/DeSantis-Ambi-Pro-Stealth-Holster-Glock-26-27-S-W-MP-9-40/31198385 any good? i have a walmart gift card

A desantis will work and is something you can sort of "get by" on if you're poor, but you should really get a decent kydex holster purpose-built for your gun.
I EDC a gearcraft like so
http://gearcraftholsters.com/iwb-inside-waistband/
Summer2017 is 15% off rn.
I like the DeSantis dual carry personally. Go leather, not nylon. The newer plastic clip ones have adjustable cant and are tuckable, but I prefer the older metal clip.
>>34691892
The 26 is small and light enough that you don't need to worry about it. I work and live in one of the most notoriously anti-fun cities in the country, and have zero problems concealing mine, even under thin, wicking type t-shirts - haven't had any undue attention in 5 years.
Serpa holster because marine s use them
