Look like pretty average troops to me. Though I'd probably bitch that they sent me grunts instead of operators.
oh no they're not balaclava'd statutes staring at the camera for PR purposes. How will america recover?
Getting my first rifle soon, I don't have much money to spend (hopefully keeping it under $200). I was thinking of trying to find an SKS, is this the best gun in this price range for a first time shooter? Also can I open carry it in oregon?
asking for a friend
your not getting an sks for 200 unless your in canada. current us pricing is double that.
>>33719668
I'd start with a .22 rifle. And yes, OC is legal in Oregon. Though that's a dangerous loophole that'll prolly be closed any year now.

Because they were never in service
Because it's inferior to modern optics.
/k/ newfag here needs some legal advice on importing an air rifle into the UK.
I was gifted a second-hand Gamo Maxima air rifle with a 4x32 Optech scope. (currently in Menorca) and I am wondering what the procedure to legally import this back to Britain is. Looking through several government websites and FAQs I have learned that sufficiently powerful air rifles are banned/regulated. The Crown Prosecution Service page on firearms is all legalese, and I do not know whether it is legal to import it, or how. So what procedures do I need to go through in order to legally bring this back to the UK?
btw already looked at http://www.gunpolicy.org/firearms/region/united-kingdom, nothing useful
>>33719244
Maybe just try contacting UK customs?
Sorry guy, you're gonna have to smuggle it in up your pooper.

Airpower, Artillary, and Armored vehicles win wars, all infantry does is hold ground once it's won. Oh and whenever the enemy challenges your infantrys squatters rights guess who wins the battle? Airpower, Artillary, and Armored vehicles!
To be honest we could give every troop up the Green Berets a Ruger 10/22 instead of their current kit and it would effect their job performance in the slightest, in fact it may even improve considering light weight .22 ammo gives them way more opportunity to shoot their peashooters while pretending to be Annie Oakley.

Pic related. Also, the AR vs AK argument has been done to death FOR DECADES.
The correct answer is PTR 91.

What does the liner look like? Shoestring or nylon webbing?
Anyone who uses the C-Clamp grip can take that same grip and go jerk Chris Costa off. The C-Clamp grip is something that was originally conceived for competition shooting, but since Magpul wanted to make money selling those AFGs, they hired their poster boy to teach people a stance that is completely impractical in a combat context so idiots can look like idiots on the shooting range. If you use the C-Clamp grip, I cannot take you seriously in the realm for firearms.

Ok, i have asked a question previously about buying this revolver, a 357 magnum Chiappa Rhino after watching reviews of it. i want to own it and also carry it (in jerusalem), i was advised that due to over penetration that 357 is too much if it hits some bystander and i should go with a slower .45 acp.
Since then i've looked into different calibers and saw this model also comes with .40s&w and that a 357 can shoot 38 special so i can still get the 357 and use a weaker bullet. i've heared that 38 special isn't as powerful as 9mm so i'm assuming i should use a stronger 38 bullet on that gun. which model would you suggest i choose? the 357 magnum to shoot 357 and carry 38sp, or a 40s&w?
(served in the IDF as an MP, shot FN MK3, and IMI jericho)
.357. Getting two calibers in one package not only alleviates your fears about over penetration, it means you can also save money when purchasing ammo. .357 and .38 special are classic rounds and there's no way production will stop on them for the foreseeable future, so you'll always have ammo to feed it with.
.357 is perfectly fine for self defense. It's not going to leave exit wounds on Hamas.
>>33717564
.357. I have the 50DS, and it's fun as hell to shoot. .357 is quite controllable, and .38 is almost boring. I could have sworn there was a 9mm version, but at that point, why not just get a semi-auto?
I would also just simply carry .357, with soft points or something. But maybe I just like the idea of using a big boy cartridge on a dindu/chug/snackbar.
On the ammo note, how expensive is ammo in Jerusalem? And how hard is it to get authorization to carry?
I'll probably end up rebuilding this in 4 months with a MK8 DDC edition

I'm going to the saint charles, missouri gun show for the first time. What should I be expecting? Do they usually sell ammo there? I want AK shit.
>>33717287
Jerky, over priced ammo, Nazi stuff you can't buy or touch, way over priced guns, tasers, and the horrid smell of ass sweat. If you are lucky, the jerky will be good.
>>33717307
really? why is the shit overpriced?
>>33717312
Because people who bought shit during the panic buys of yester-years are still trying to turn a profit, or break even.
You /k/ommandos have finally convinced me to buy a better red dot.
I've been doing alot of research on Aimpoint's, but need some more convincing on whether I should go Aimpoint, Trijicon, or EOtech.
>>33717176
Aimpoint anything, Eotech a shit and MRO is a shit.
>>33717193
What's the difference between some of the popular models of Aimpoint? Why are some $400, and others $1000?
Is it just durability?
