Brake cleaner, lacquer thinner, paint stripper, whatever you want.

I sandblasted my gun with aluminum oxide and then cerakoted it myself. Turned out great. That's not within everyone's capabilities though. Stuff required: good quality air compressor, sandblaster, spray gun, in-line water catch, cerakote H and catalyst, aluminum oxide 100 grit, separate oven for baking, acetone to de-grease.

The SL rubber rail mount for the tape switch had a slight bit of play in it, so I'm using a small piece of double sided Velcro to keep it in place/keep the wire out of the 11 o'clock mlok slot and touching the gas block.
