Anyone who uses the C-Clamp grip can take that same grip and go jerk Chris Costa off. The C-Clamp grip is something that was originally conceived for competition shooting, but since Magpul wanted to make money selling those AFGs, they hired their poster boy to teach people a stance that is completely impractical in a combat context so idiots can look like idiots on the shooting range. If you use the C-Clamp grip, I cannot take you seriously in the realm for firearms.

Okay but you're still gay

t. mallninja wannabe pro shooter faggot
C-clamps are awesome. I had the grip on my edger fall apart on me, but a tiny little c-clamp keeps it right in place.
He can't even swim. Do not take advice from Costa.
>pic related his tactical floaty
ok
mmmmm hmmmmm

yup

You make me feel this way sometimes...
>>33718473
You should really do a video on this topic. Compare speed and accuracy differences with different grips, stances, and at various ranges and with various shooters. I think your level of autism and video presentation style would be a good way to deliver that sort of information.
>>33718537
Perhaps but it's hard to make it a good comparison as I always C-Clamp when doing shit, so I'm much more practiced at that compared to other grips.
>>33717846
I like to use c-clamp because it makes me look like a badass in the range and everyone thinks i'm some retired SOF badass.
>>33717846
You just sound like a salty fag with few guns
>>33717846
Can someone explain the rationale behind this thing?
>>33718767
You are pulling the rifle into your shoulder to reduce muzzle rise while it is recoiling.
I think of it like shooting a pistol two handed isosceles/weaver compared to tea cup. For the isosceles you can squeeze and impart more force from your hands and other muscle groups to weaken the vertical rise after each shot.
Where as tea cup I would not be able to squeeze/brace the pistol as much.
The reason I compare these to the c-clamp rifle technique is that it compares the same way with an old school chicken wing style of shooting. With your left hand holding up the rifle rather than bracing it into your body.
Tl:dr c-clamp is like isosceles when compared to tea cup and chicken wing technique.
Also C-clamp sucks for heavy guns/ accurate off hand shots. IMO its good for competition or close range work.
Solid Snake used c-clamp, if it's good enough for him it's good enough for me.

The same reason why when you start driving you're told to put your hands 9 and 3 o'clock and not right on top of the staring wheel. Right on top (equivalent to the magwell hold) leads to over steering, but the further out you put your hands the better control you have.

>left handed
>the clamps are a good way to get burned
Haha, y-yeah, sure is dumb...
Combat context is 100% irrelevant so c-clamp is fine. Nobody here will ever see organized combat and the only reason any of you wouldn't be competing is because you're poor.
>>33718767
more control over the muzzle and faster transition between targets, supposedly
>>33717846
why the fuck is his face censored?
>>33718864
Supposedly nothing, it's the most basic physics possible. You have way better control of a lever the farther out you grab it no matter what it is, and a rifle acts like a two axis lever. Grab it at the magwell and as close to the FSB as you can manage and swing it between a few aim points, and watch how much your front sight sways when doing either. Unless you got that hulk grip, the magwell will have the muzzle fishtailing all over when you swing it but the thumb-over-bore grip will have it locked right the hell in without a bit of over-travel. It is absolutely 100% about target transition speed.

Who doesn't?
Well, aside from that guy. I don't know why he wants to be slow. Probably a sandraker.
>>33717846
How is it "Completely impractical in a combat context"?
Also C-clamping is what the muhreens are teaching at boot now, which I think is equal parts neat and funny.

do a video on flannels please, and where you get them.
