Why is the browser situation so terrible on Android, /g/?
How is Chrome terrible?
>>54846322
Samsung's default with AdBlock Fast or Crystal is amazing.
Naked Browser is all you need.
Old one is getting up there.
Post em, boys.
Ayy. Just moved work in progress edition here from the last thread.

We need 6.3 jack, so phones would have bigger battery and will not be dead at the end of the day. Not overheat and have space for innovations.
>>54843934
>No headphone jack
Good. The less annoying wires, the better. My previous headphones broke because the wire snapped. No more. Bring on the wireless future.
Soon wireless charging and syncing will be the norm.

i have those headphones on me rn
ALAC is the best current lossless codec. While it encodes the same way as FLAC, it has a few advantages:
1. better tags, whose can be read by practically anything and by all major OS, whose don't have predefined values
2. ability to embed cover art in the file
3. being supported by a marginally better number of applications
Why aren't you using it for lossless stuff? If you do, why won't websites?
>>54841354
>2. ability to embed cover art in the file
Nice redundant data and bloat. All the media players worth their dime can read images from the directory and display that.
>>54841470
this.
>not having cover.jpg ONCE instead if <#songs_of_album>
FLAC is best
>>54841470
do you even filesystem compress
& it's nice to have cover art and song in one place, like when doing music collections
Whats in the box?

Is that a deluxe master shitposter controller? I can imagine an aussie using this one at /pol/ to shitpost at blinding speeds.
Now with meme posting macros for optimal efficiency.
It's already 2016. Why do you still use linux? I'll give you exactly fifteen seconds.
because you have to be a special kind of cuck to pay for a Windows Server licence
>>54865200
It's already 2016. Why do you still use windows? I'll give you exactly fifteen seconds.
Because it's free
Windows 10 now has more users than Windows 7.

Nobody on /g/ uses Windows, we use GNU
>>54864573
I use linux so I don't care. But when a company forces most of its user base to upgrade instead of using marketing, then the numbers will eventually shift. Also windows 10 runs fine in a virtual machine.

Do I really need to clean my GPU periodically? My last two GPUs died on me after one year and two years respectively. The highest temps I ever saw on the first one was ~64C, and on the second one 59C, only while playing videogames. Otherwise they were both in the low 30s. It doesn't seem like dust was making either heat up. Is there some other reason to clean em?
just clean the dust out you fucking dingus. my gtx470 has been running at 100*C for 5+ years and it is still perfectly fine.
>>54864298
If the dust isn't making the thing heat up, then how is it damaging them?
>>54864277
I wonder if something is wrong with your PSU. For a while I literally had to buy a new hard drive every 3-6 months because it would die. After I replaced my PSU the harddrives stopped dying for no on reason.
I'm missing the four screws circled in pic related to mount the stock fan, i'm switching back to air cooling. is there a way i can get them at a hardware store? they are the ones that came with the motherboard, which is a GA-78LMT-USB3
>>54864208
Just use woodscrews, the way it's meant to be screwed™.
Those are standard 1/10 X 1/20 screws. Don't listen too anyone saying woodscrews etc.
>>54864545
thanks, and these should be available at my local computer store im guessing?
AMD GPUS = 14nm finfet
Nvidia GPUS = 16nm finfet
Why is nvidia always behind in manufacturing processes?
Because Nvidia figured out how to make a profit.
It's that simple.
>>54863878
Nvidia is stuck with whatever TSMC can provide, which in this case is their own 16nm node, while AMD can use whatever GlobalFoundries has to offer, which includes the 14nm node they licensed from Samsung. While Polaris 10 and 11 are to be produced by Globalfoundries, their higher end chips coming later this year are however going to be made by TSMC.
>>54864004
AMD will never go back to tsmc
Phanteks Eclipse P400 or Fractal Define S?

Pretty fucked because I'll start shooting.
I lasted about 3 days with my 5x. N ran like hot garbage. Rooting was also fucking pointless since even with root, the /System folder is read only which means Adaway can’t modify the hosts file.
Had to go back to Stan Marshmallow.
Any other guinea pigs here who had a better experience?
it's not finished dumbass what did you expect
I've been using it as my daily driver for my Nexus 6P and it's been pretty good. I get around 2 days of battery life.
>>54863663
That's cool. I'm pretty sure my issues were unoptimized apps running poorly. I hope the read only system folder issue isn't permanent.
Title says it all.
I need help /g/,
I built a new rig and every time I run overwatch there's a loud annoying buzzing coming from my power supply fan, speakers, and any audio device I plug in like headphones.
Would anyone know what the problem would be? I only trust /g/'s opinion.
Any ideas?
Could be a ground loop?
I'm just worried it's doing damage.
Ok so the buzzing happens when i launch Dota 2 also.
So it's not overwatch.
