Why don't sandboxes work in Leksah? I keep getting conflicts with global installed packages. Annoying as fuck.

Why do some phone manufacturers dramatically over complicate board layouts?
Both phones have basically the same specs

Which one are you claiming is over-complicated? the board on the right probably has all the same shit on it its just under those emi shields.
Notice that one of them is half the size.
That's why.
Got linux in a new partition and I have dual boot, but in the whole week I didn't get into windows even once. I'm thinking about doing a full linux format and install.

But nah, I reinstalled it & use it as my main when im not working.

Does this Life pattern have a name? I can't find anything like it on the wiki or in the Life Lexicon.
I doubt that I've invented the first still life to be infinitely expandable both horizontally and vertically. If it does turn out that that's the case, then I move we name it Anon's Cornfield in my honor. Or maybe Anon's Chessboard?
It's called a beehive
http://www.conwaylife.com/wiki/Beehive
though I wasn't aware that it could be expanded that way. Maybe you should add it to the lifewiki.
I prefer the name cornfield, but I guess 'beehive' readily suggest a related name.
Ever heard of gardens of eden? Probably yes but if not, check them out
>>54865709
I was considering calling it "Anon's Garden" but I didn't want it to be confused with the concept of gardens of Eden.
Also, although it may be related to the beehive, it's still a still life of its own, even under the strictest definition of the term "still life", because it's all connected.
If we call this a beehive, it is a bunch of beehives tessellated and sharing edges. You can't partiton it into smaller beehives without copying all those shared cells. That's pretty far away from a basic beehive, especially compared to the "beehive with tail" (which is also considered its own strict still life).
If we want to hilight some kind of relationship between the pattern I discovered and the basic beehive, we should call it "Anon's Honeycomb".

What are the best VR options right now ? Google cardboard looks pretty cool
Maybe if you're retarded.
>>54865211
Vive is the only acceptable consumer VR atm.
Also, please learn how to use Google.
>>54865211
google cardboard is a pretty smart solution but hardware manufactures and google would have to work together to make it a little more viable. Its completely withing their power to do and it wouldnt raise the cost of phones that much, but they probably wont do it.
The phone would need usb 3c or thunderport to display the content (display port and hdmi obviously are a waste of space here) and theyd have to optimize the gyroscope a little more which again is a cheap fix. Real work would have to be google making it so that their api doesnt create lag when displaying and tracking which again isnt too hard for google, but theyd have to want to do it.
Alternatively the phone manufacturers themselves could do it but then you get stuff like the galaxy which only works with certain samsung products.
how vital is an understanding of basic code languages; C, C++, Js, etc. if one were to learn the basic premise of h4cking?
It's not. Learn PHP and SQL for hacking.
thankyou.

Find vulnerability in code/protocol/logic -> exploit vulnerability -> plant backdoor
basic premise of hacking explained with 0 understanding of programming.
If you want to learn about exploit development and it depends on your goal platform (Processes, databases, web applications, etc) but you should understand how memory allocation works, the stack, pointers, program control at the assembler level, user input validation (especially pitfalls/caveats of common input validation techniques) in popular languages for your platform, and platform-specific info (eg, XSS for web exploits, SQLi for database exploits, buffer overflows and return-oriented programming for C/C++/similar exploits, command injection for applications that pass information to a shell (common enough in web apps)).
Additionally, understand the security practices put in place by the operating systems you're attempting to hack, eg how user privileges are handled, cracking passwords, known attacks (pass-the-hash, privilege escalation exploits), and kernel-levei protections (ASLR, W^X, etc) and their pitfalls.
Learn how to use a unix command line because many tools require it and shell scripting is a godsend.
Alright /g/, my uncle is having some legal issues, and he needs to prove his location through 3G data. Is it possible? He didn't call anyone, but almost everyday he used mobile data, is this data still available, and how precise is it?
