FreeSync is a branded DisplayPort standard you dumbo.

GSync is a proprietary shit that costs a company huge amounts of money to get approved and certified and shit to put that abortion into a monitor, requires a separate chip in the monitor and all that bullshit raises the price of a monitor $200.

Meanwhile FreeSync is literally free to implement. All that manufacturers have to do is to have DisplayPort and enable the sync.

Of course GSync works better, it fucking costs extra too. In what world would $0 technology beat $200 technology?

It's fun and gives you another view on programming (and math) in general if you don't know any other functional programming languages.

Personally I noticed that any (semi-)functional language is kind of a breeze to understand because it does not use the full extend you get to know in Haskell.

As more and more functional features are going into the popular languages I think it might be nice to get to know them in a "pure" environment, so you have a clear understanding how things work.

Happened the same shit to me. Fuck Linux spent one fucking week trying to fix wifi drivers and wine problems. Also no games. Windows 10 works out of the box. I don't care if it is a botnet at least it doesn't drives me crazy.
