nvidia is the apple of graphics card
>>55650276
Both are great 1080p60 ultra settings cards while rx-480 gets +10 stat bonus on post dx11 games.
>>55650317
form what I've seen, nvidia is catching up as far as dx12 and vulkan go.
the more I read into this the more I think they're equivalent perf/price wise, each with titles that favor them.
what a tough fucking decision, seriously. gonna wait to see the non-reference models duke it out.

Pretty funny to see you guys bully Windows users.

you'd rather download your binary blobs from some shitty old vendor website that stops working after 3 years huh
I was waiting for the tea water to boil and messing with the infrared themometer when I realize I had never tried to point it at the sky. When I did it read -12c or 9f
Was that just some sort of error state from not being able to register anything close enough (the device pic related doesn't state any sort of "effective range" just the ratio at which the "cone" widens) or was it actually measuring temperature of the clouds or some upper atmosphere particles or something (it's a sunny day with few clouds)?
That's the temperature of space
>>55650015
well this was solvable by a quick google search like most questions on here but if anyone else was curious yes I was measuring the temperature of the water vapor in the atmosphere or in other words the greenhouse effect
>>55650015
>I was waiting for the tea water to boil
Lol? Use a fucking electronic kettle.
I just bought: GIGABYTE GeForce GTX 1070 DirectX 12 GV-N1070G1 GAMING-8GD 8GB 256-Bit GDDR5 PCI Express 3.0 x16 ATX Video Card.
How badly did I fuck up? I paid $409 for it.

Nice meme
Why should google even continue to release new android versions when most people are still running 4.4?
Why don't they just give up already?
Why do looDroid shills keep trying to fool us?
How is there even a market for this shit?
>implying the Support Library doesn't exist
>>55649879
Same shit being discussed when Android hit 2.3
>mfw when android is open source and there are people on /g/ that are tec-illiterate enough to not upgrade themselves
It is a shitty business model that android is being shipped for all phones separately, but it's not like you are forced to stay with stock like it is the case with iOS.
Hello /g/,
I know this isn't supposed to be a tech support site but I couldn't find a solution in 2 years of fixes and you are pretty much my last restort.
Ever since I bought a second monitor and started using it I felt that while playing videogames in borderless window mode it felt like the framerate was choppy and the game was stuttering alot.
This could be easily fixed in the first moment by turning it back to full screen mode but
>no fast alt+tab
>2nd monitor being a black screen in some games until aero was turned off
So after a few researches I got that Aero and more specifically its Vsync was the problem, so I tryed to disable it and it worked no more choppy framerate and stuttering but then I started to see pic related happen to any big window like my browser, basically any window big enough to cover the entire screen or even just 3/4 of it would cause the graphical bug in pic related.
I couldn't find a single solution in 2 years to fix that, and it only occurs with Aero off.
cont.
Also Can't turn Vsync of Aero off with the control panel of nvidia, at least I tryed doing that but the choppy framerate and stuttering would still be there.
As for the monitors, they are from different brand but are the same inches, same resolution (1080p) and same refresh rate (59hz down from 60hz another possible solution that didn't work)
>>55649860
oh and forgot to mention the graphical bug only occurs in the second monitor, using windows 7 64 bit
Install gentoo.
Do you still use floppy disks?
>>55649819
I actually had to use a floppy disk and FreeDOS in a radiation experiment on a lab recently. The machinery is not that old, but the software works as it should and there's no reason to change it.

Is Windows 10 usable nowadays? Or is it still a broken piece of shit?

>>55649492
I haven't seen any of these issues, seems like they are all pre-release or early launch. Closest I saw was the Ethernet claimed it was not connected, but it worked fine. And that was just on one machine which potentially had other issues.
>>55649492
Every new Windows version is buggy for a year after release, it's expected.
But Windows 10 is slightly worse in this regard. It still feels unfinished. Not just in terms of bugs, but the whole UI seems half-assed quickly slapped together shit made by some low paid interns.
