Either would be good enough for shitposting and running Office, G5s will actually probably have better support than early Core 2 boxes due to the hobbyist community still developing software for them.
I wouldn't pay more than $70-$80 for one, though. They've got life in them, but they're still ancient.

Question to all the CS/CE majors out there. How social are/were you in college?
I'm majoring in CE and I've been feeling kinda stupid for how often I'm staying home alone studying for things like calculus and physics. I'm not particularly good at mathematics and often need to repeat exercises over and over in order to understand things. I don't have this problem with my various CS classes though.
Just wondering if I'm too dumb for my major or something.

Currently I pay shitloads of money for a flat that is only half decent, commute for hours to work, then work more hours than I really like to, and buy food that costs more than anywhere else on the planet, and also expenses for absolutely fucking everything..
If I could live cheaper I could work independent and choose only the fun jobs, the ones that give you something more than jost a desperate buck to pay for yet more bills and costs.
maybe moving to mexico and work online woulld be a great opportunity? anyone else thinking the same recently?
