How is it even possible that smartphones can drive effortlessly very high DPI 2K displays with tiny GPU ASICs on small low energy ARM chips without cooler or fan, while on desktops and laptops require massive GPU with tremendous cooling (sure yo "can" drive 2K display with just i5 but you can't do anything else with it)?

Just exactly how badly PC's hardware architecture is really designed?

what the fuck are you talking about?
An intel i3 with integrated gpu is more then enough to power a full hd display and use basic software.

My ancient netbook, which cpu is far worse then any smartphones, is able to run a full hd display with browser etc.

That's an interesting way of putting it. I can visualise one hamster and at a stretch I could visualise twenty. I have no idea what fifty billion hamsters would look like.

It'll be interesting to see what impact gigafactory one will have on battery technology. Hopefully it will spur the industry to accelerate their research. Would be nice to have batteries near the theoretical capacity limit.
>>

>It'll be interesting to see what impact gigafactory one will have on battery technology
The price will skyrocket. There is only enough lithium for 10 years at the current pace, they will deplete the whole thing in a year or two.
>>
How about they give me an actual scale and not hamsters because these hamsters could vary in sizes. are they small hamsters, medium hamsters, chubby hamsters, or fatass hamsters? fuckin at least give us a real measurement of an animal like "43,750,000,000 38 pound 6 ft tall sturgeon from the oceans of northwest america" get the fuck out with this vague hamster bullshit. y'know, i hope to see if they can get 50 billion hamsters, same diet and breed, and put them all in the gigafactory and see if it really can fit 50 billion hamsters no more no less because if it cant i will find Elon Musk's jackass right now and beat him up for giving me such an unrealistic number like a fucking FAGGOT. god damn like how hard is it to just say how many square feet it will be and how tall the structure will be elon musk you jerk.

>gpu driver inconsistencies, accept fate and switch back to mint after painful months

>could it be the WADs fault?.DEH
>boot to mac os x
>framerate also shit

I'm scared.

Board is radeon 6750M. Open source drivers wont create shaders with kernel 4, works with 3 though.

Could I have fucked up the gpu by trying several distros with the driver?
It just doesnt add up to me.

I've got an old 360 that was flashed years ago. It's not banned from Live as far as I know but I guess would get banned immediately if I did go online with it.

It's not worth selling, so can I do anything interesting with an old 360?

http://9to5mac.com/2016/08/05/buy-rainbow-pride-apple-watch-band/

>A little more than a month ago Apple gave a limited-edition rainbow colored Apple Watch band to its employees who marched in San Fransisco’s LGBT Pride parade. With no official release in sight and no worthy alternatives on the market, it seemed the only way to get your hands on one was to pay insane eBay prices. But that’s all changed this morning. Clockwork Synergy, a watch accessory maker based in Maryland, has just launched a Pride version of its Classic NATO Apple Watch band featuring a rainbow design that looks nearly identical to the one Apple gifted its employees. What’s more, both bands are made of nylon.

>Clockwork Synergy’s Pride band is available in 38mm/42mm with 2 buckle and 7 adapter color options so you can customize it to fit your style. Its 11 adjustability holes should fit “most wrist sizes.” Better yet, the band is covered under a 1-year warranty in case you happen to run into any issues.

Anyone else picking one of these up? They look pretty nice.

In before edgy alt right teenagers.

I think Windows phone can be good as long as it has 2GB of ram. i'm running the Lumia 640 at the moment and the constant ''resuming'' is a chore.
>>
Got a 950. It kinda works since I do my document work there while my work laptop only has Linux in it.

Any specific scenario you're planning on using continuum on?

I get a "you're banned" msg when posting on 4chan every now and then, the ban is usually from long ago and for using a vpn/proxy, despite never having used one.

As soon as I read the message the ban expires.
Again though, this clearly wasn't me.
Is it possible this is due to my internet provider only using IPv6 and emulating IPv4?

>>
>>55960583
yes
>>
>>55960583
This happens all the time on wireless networks since your ISP doesn't provide a static IP. If it randomly assigns you an IP that was previously banned on 4chan for whatever reason, just reconnect and it'll give you a new one.
>>
>ISP uses CGNAT
>Sometimes I'll be banned from posting because some little 12 year old bastard has posted something retarded on the same IP address
>IP addresses stay assigned for days at a time
