I am about to install Ruby on Rails and get cracking on some work. I have a Windows 10 computer (good specs) as well as a 5k retina iMac. Which one should I use for Ruby on Rails? I briefly read about macs being somewhat better for Ruby content development because they run on a UNIX system.

What do you want them to do? 3D scan your environment and internally render a model of your surroundings on your piece of shit phone just to make sure that the dumbass monsters in your shitty tracking game show up on a correct surface?

Why to release the best, when mediocre sells better and cost less?

Also the 90:10 principle.

I just started trying to learn Python. I was following some tutorials that showed a simple way for finding prime numbers. I decided to modify it a bit to just try and output whether numbers in a set were divisible by 3. This is what I came up with.

for n in range(3, 13):
for x in range(3, n):
if n % x >= 1:
print(n, 'Is not divisible by 3')
break
else:
print(n, 'is divisible by 3')

Unfortunately, this is only showing 3 as being divisible by 3, and 4-12 not being divisible by 3. Can anyone explain where I'm going wrong?

why do you have a break there?

I copied straight from the Idle, so it isn't preserving the indentation in the post, I guess.

Because the function loops and gives the outputs for each number several times without it

What does /g/ think of liquid cooling? Aren't you scared of leaks? I have been thinking about switching to liquid cooling because I have a small room upstairs and it gets hot as fuck with my computer on and if I have a local store install the liquid cooling parts, they offer a three year warranty for my retarded ass.

It still get hot, but instead getting hot right over the CPU it goes to the radiator. The only way is using AC.

Just use Fans with blue LEDs, they let your config run cooler.

After going through Windows 7, 8, 8.1, 10 and then a variety of Linux distros, I'm so glad to return to this god-tier operating system.

I can see why Linux can appeal to the hardcore users; it wasn't that great for me.

Hopefully by 2020 Microsoft will create another OS as good as this one. It feels good to be home.

Who else on Win 7?

windows 10 is the last OS, there will be only updates from now on, most likely same how Apple did it with OS X

Is there any reason not to buy the compact versions of cards like 1060? I guess the cooler works somewhat better on cards with those long double fan configurations, but if you're just going to run stock anyway it shouldn't matter, right?

Yes.

1. GPU Boost 3.0 won't work as well due to the card hitting thermal limits.
2. You're missing out on Quality VRMs.

Granted, those cards are great for for SFF and budget oriented builds but I would spend the extra $20 and buy a dual fan version.
>>
>>55965734
Personally I'm waiting for the EVGA SC GTX 1060 mini version since EVGA has it's head stuck up it's ass and won't release the dual fan ACX3 versions. The EVGA 1060 SC mini costs $300 USD here and that's the absolute max I'm willing to pay for the 1060.

Don't feel like paying $350 local prices for a Gigabyte G1 or Asus Strix, at those prices I might as well spring for the 1070.

What's with all the Microsoft and Apple shills?

Linux is as good as the time you put into it.

There's something nice about setting things up yourself and having them work.

If something breaks you know enough about your system to fix it.

What's wrong with that?

>Linux is as good as the time you put into it.

That's the problem, most people have jobs and shit. They don't have time to spend two weeks fucking around, reading amatuer written documentation, and scouring forums to learn how to set-up their OS to do what they need.

They're especially not going to do that when options exists that does what they need out of the box without any of that bullshit.

>Buh buh I can set-up my Arch install over the course of a weekend you retard!! XDD

Yeah, maybe after being indoctrinated into Linux for years and understanding shared principals and procedures. Again, most people do not have time for this.

Something that shouldn't happen.

In before "Muh Windows breaks all the time!" Yeah, if you're a dipshit and load it up with 10,000 garbage 3rd party programs. That's not Microsoft's problem. I haven't had to reinstall Windows since 2000. I ran the same XP build/install for 10 years straight.
