If BMW implemented an over the air patch to keep their vehicles from being hacked then why couldn't Chrysler?

Equating BMW with Chrysler/Fiat is ridiculous.
Different level of customer commitment for a start.
Do we really need cars being available on the internet? Holy shit cell phones already do everything you could possibly need from a car's radio thing.
You know the drill, take a photo, post it along with what phone it is

Take using pro mode + camera raw, galaxy S6. I do photography with an SLR but honestly the galaxy S6 camera is nearly identical outside of the post-processing that shows up somewhat obviously.

Hey /g/uys. I heard that PCI 3.0-oriented hardware can work (reverse compatible) in PCI 2.0 slots. Is this true?
Also is their any disadvantages or limitations to putting a pci 3.0 card in a 2.0 slot?
>>55954277
Not really. I used a PCI-E 3.0 card (GTX 980) at PCI-E 1.1 speeds.
>>55954300
How?
>>55954277
for most consumer tasks there isn't a difference. pcie 3 is technically faster than 2 but 2 is so fast anyway that you won't notice any difference
Will MIT/GNU Scheme compile on OpenBSD?
>>55954015
I can't imagine that it won't. If it doesn't though, you should port it.
>>55956330
I see.
>>55954015
Just use Chez scheme, there's literally no reason to use anything else.
But seriously.... why hasn't Hound gotten popular? It's the most awesome tech innovation I've seen in years.

Is Windows 10 tracking as big of a deal as people are making it or is it overblown?
This is coming from someone who usually uses Linux and boots into Windows for gaming and video editing.
>>55953790
I personally don't trust Windows 10 partially for the data collection, but for other things like forced updates, ads, and stability. But it is probably a little overblown. I mean just look at the amount of data Facebook & Google collect. Basically Microsoft has just integrated themselves into that. But I feel it's different since you don't own Google or FB servers. This is your personal machine and they're banking off of it.
>>55953790
I switched to Linux after windows 10 was finally released. I used 10 for a month and realised it's actually a botnet.
Hi
I want to learn to code c# by myself, but I do not know how.
I know basic c#, but I want to get a good level of knowledge.
Is there any guide to learn, or projects I can do for learning specific parts or instructions?

did you know that you only need to spend $150 on graphics cards every 3 years to have 70% of the performance of the highest performing graphics card currently on the market?
Why are people so stupid?
>>55953627
Lol you're a dummy
>>55953865
how so?
>>55953627
A 150 dollar graphics card will come nowhere fucking close to giving you 70% of the performance of that generation's flagship card - and it especially won't fucking do so for 3 years.
You're like those retards who claim they own a 750 and "max" everything out, without ever actually giving specifics to their settings or resolution that they play at.
Do any of you /g/entlemen have a 3D printer?
What do you use it for?
Any cool projects you've done?
I'm deciding whether or not to invest
>>55953587
I do have a knockoff of the replicator dual, desu I dont use it that much but it has been good for a few of custom projects, making things like raspi camera holders and motor mounts. If you are more into software it isnt worth it, as the novelty wears off.
Check out the Form 2.
I'm waiting until the tech becomes cheap enough to print high-quality anime figures.
If I had one now I'd use it to print and share onahole molds.
I'm 30 years old, is it late to start learning programming?

Is Windows10 threat to torrent - tor - zeronet traffic?
If it wouldn't be for games and movies/music I would be on linux (some ubuntu-ish distro), yet so far I use Win(botnet)10. I turned off some data--sharing options that were availible (by windows) but I'm not knowledgable enough to know if that is sufficient. And I thought that people here could know more about it.
Don't worry, the NSA isn't going to expose their trump card to go after you for downloading anime.
>>55953519
Who knows? Only Microsoft can answer that. I know I don't trust those bastards anymore. Windows is going to removed from all of my machines shortly. I had enough of their sleazy behavior.
>>55953519
But why ?
