1) Use the Live ISO (if your distribution of choice has one) to boot directly into the GNU/Linux distribution without installing anything, that way, you can get to experience the GNU/Linux operating system without installing it.
2) Dual boot the GNU/Linux distribution of your choice along with Windows or macOS, this is recommended if you want to know more about the GNU/Linux operating system.
3) Go balls deep and replace everything with GNU/Linux.

My budget for my gaming rig maxes out at $1700. I got every part I wanted (i5-6600k, 16GB DDR4, Noctis 450, Z-170A, NZXT Hale 550W, other stuff I dont remember).

Unfortunately, I couldnt afford a 980ti without going over-budget (unless I bought used), so I settled for a 980. My question is, should I return my 980 and go for a used 980ti?

Bonus question, will a 6600k be too much for my 980 to handle?

“Through extensive experimentation, we demonstrate that the attack is extremely effective and reliable. Given any two arbitrary hosts, it takes only 10 seconds to successfully infer whether they are communicating,” the team wrote in a white paper. “If there is a connection, subsequently, it takes also only tens of seconds to infer the TCP sequence numbers used on the connection. To demonstrate the impact, we perform case studies on a wide range of applications.”

Is the 750 Ti a passable card in 2016? I have a super restrictive power budget so would prefer something that requires under 75w. I also want a low heat card because it's hot.

Looking at benchmarks, it seems like this card consistently reaches console-level performance at least. Do you think Nvidia is going to ignore it when the 1050 comes out?
