The average /g/ user isn't intelligent enough to make those calculations on their own. Also when you spend that amount of money you gotta convince yourself that your decision was right; in that sense buying Intel or Apple is like getting an abortion and becoming a bitter woman.

Why is nobody here talking about QuadRooter? Basically any phones running on Qualcomm CPUs (around 70% of android devices right now) are apparently vulnerable to privilege escalation to root from normally installed apps. This might be the biggest thing in "phone rooting" fucking EVER. How are you not EXCITE?

I'm redoing some school assignments in c++ to get more familiar with the language, and last project I worked was just an array list class. I was going to add a copy constructor, but wanted to run it, and make sure it still worked as is so far.
I think I just had some problems with
>using namespace std
This is just some of the error
/tmp/ccI9fUGv.o: In function `main':
ArrayListdriver.cpp:(.text+0x42): undefined reference to `std::cout'
ArrayListdriver.cpp:(.text+0x47): undefined reference to `std::basic_ostream<char, std::char_traits<char> >& std::operator<< <std::char_traits<char> >(std::basic_ostream<char, std::char_traits<char> >&, char const*)'
ArrayListdriver.cpp:(.text+0x51): undefined reference to `std::ostream::operator<<(bool)'

I removed using namespace std, and the error went away, but went wrong? Why shouldn't I be using namespace std? I find it particularly strange, because last time I worked on this 3 months ago, I didn't have this problem.

Hey /g/ I just purchased an SSD and I was trying to clone my HDD to it however it has an incompatible sector size (HDD is 512, SSD is 4096) and it won't clone onto the SSD because of this. How can I change the sector size on the SSD to match my hard drive? It has no files on it and I am willing to format it again if I need to.

Hey guys. I'm looking to start developing a desktop software as a side project that manages a businesses workflow / quoting stuff. What would be the best language for something like this? I was thinking Java for its robustness.

I know it's been done, I'm just doing it as an exercise, and wanted some opinions. What about using node-webkit?
>>
>>56002674
Don't try to change your sector size. SSDs need their sectors to not be messed with. Find a better cloning program, like macrium

Just recieved the 6700k I ordered to replace my 4790k - my old mobo fried itself so I just upgraded chipset.

The stock voltages for the 6700k was high, 4.2 ghz at 1.328v. I've managed to get a stable clock of 4.4ghz at 1.152v which really surprised me. Is my chip above average? I can't attempt high overclocks as I'm using a fairly poor cooler.

Post clocks.

>a stable clock of 4.4ghz at 1.152v
I doubt that's very stable besides desktop use.

Try H264 encoding or some CPU rendering.

4.5-4.7GHz is usually possible with 1.25-1.3v
>>
>>56002113
Also any idea why it isn't possible to download the vcore/clocks on a manual setting? It did so with my old Gigabyte Z87 motherboard, it doesn't with an Asus Z170.

1060 is a lot better in nearly everything:

On average, a 1060 is 13.72% better than a 480.

On average, when using DX11, a 1060 is 15.25% better than a 480.

On average, when using DX12, a 1060 is 1.02% worse than a 480.

On average, when using Vulkan, a 1060 is 27.13% better than a 480.
