i have a pic related multi meter and the whole time i always thought and used the diode mode at the bottom for my continuity test (like wires and pcb). and today i just find out that this mode is supposed to be only used for diodes. however i never had any problems using this mode for continuity, so what was the difference between diodes and continuity??

In Russia, someone developed something similar for a russian facebook (VK.com). It uses neural networks and it works pretty well (i took a few photos of people in the subway and managed to find 9 out of 11 profiles).

intel are innovators, they have no interest in low hanging fruit like that. If they thought they had anything new or interesting to offer the GPU market im sure they would participate, but for them it's just low hanging fruit. Not a priority, and certainly not worth the r&d or fabs.
